How To Parent 101

[Evania Charr]

Evania was in the gardens searching for her father. He had told her they would be having a visitor today and that they would be waiting in the gardens for her. The little girl had rushed to get cleaned up and slip on her favorite blue and white dress. Once she finished getting dressed she brushed her hair and attempted to braid it... It didn't go well. She decided not to mess with it anymore and left in the extremely sloppy, terrible looking braid as she went to search for her daddy. [member="Solan Charr"]

Solan smiled as his daughter came into sight and he bent down to one knee as she came into the area. "Trying something new with your hair there Little Robin?" He couldn't help but smile as his hands came to brush out her hair a small bit with his fingers, leaving it in a much more orderly state as he continued to speak. "I assume you got excited about the Visitor, shes an old friend of mine that i've talked to many times in the past..." He wasn't sure how far behind him Seanna was, but he suspected not far considering they were still in his garden.

Finding this something new, then looking at Solan with a raised eyebrow. As she had her suit coat off her own hands where very dirty from helping weed a little bit of Solan garden. "Well now who is this little, sweet pea,", she was such a darling little thing. One couldn't help but fall in live with her. Smiling the whole time not knowing what she would say or do about the markings on her face over her eye and on her neck. Turning to be that fuzy warm thing not like she need the help. Oh who was she kidding she needed a lot of help on that one.

Evania let her dad smooth out her hair, and looked up at him when he mentioned their visitor. She was rather curious and when she saw the redheaded woman approaching the two of them she smiled a little. So far most of Solan's friends that she had met were quite nice to her. She wasn't used to people being nice to her and blushed a bit when she heard Seanna call her "sweet pea". She stood very close to Solan, one hand reaching up to grab the hem of his shirt and cling to it as she stood there. [member="Seanna Vel"]

"Evania, this is my friend Seanna Vel. She is someone who i have known for a long time so its ok. She wont bite." He moved a hand to her shoulder as he looked at Seanna. The comment that ended with sweet pea was causing Evania to blush and he smiled a bit wider at the sight. "She was helping me garden over in the other part of the garden, so it kind of explains why are both covered in dirt at the moment..." He certainly had no idea how to explain their friendship to his daughter, and to tell the truth he really did not want to have to explain it.

Giving Solan a look when she said she wouldn't bit. Maybe later she would when they was a lone just the two of them for now. Nope it would be all nice a good behavior. "I brought your father a few more planets for his garden to brighten up the place more." As she let herself relax as knowing that it would do no good to be on guard for the time being.

Even so she knew that some how she would have to gain the little ones trust. After a bit she saw what could be a way in, "Do you help your father with all his plants, I like to plant things watch them grow also. "

Evania nodded, smiling cheerfully. "Uh huh! I help daddy alot. I love spending time in the garden! This is where Daddy first started teaching me how to read and write you know? He taught me how to spell the names of some of the flowers and things in the garden. It's so fun! I'm still not very good at writing, reading, or gardening, but I'm gonna get lots better!" The child explained, bouncing on the balls of her feet in joy as she spoke all the good times she had spent with her father in the garden. [member="Seanna Vel"]

He watched them talk while he sat down himself near some of the flowers and idly picked over the weeds that were there, pushing around the leaves gently while the other two talked. It was interesting as to how well they were getting along at the moment and he honestly didn't expect them to not like eachother but he was a bit worried at what Evania might tell Seanna or what Seanna might tell her. The things that could be exchanged was something that put a bit of interest into Solan beyond the normal curiosity.

Smiling at the little one even she knew that this was nothing but a great little one that Solan had, it was a joy to see one so bounce. It was very different then any of her other business meetings that had taken place over the past. Even so this was a good thing it changed things up for her which she enjoy very much.

"So Ms. Evanina what is your favorite color, and what do you like for a flower, I mean a kind." she had to chuckle to herself some what as she saw Solan go off to watch them with either other. After a time she couldn't help but go aver there and drop by him. "What you thinking sweet pea." as she reach into the dirt with her hands touching his.

"I like blue! And I think roses are really pretty!" Evania replied. She swayed a little on her feet and yawned as she spoke. She was beginning to feel tired but she didn't want to go take a nap. So far she still having more good days then bad days, but she had no idea how long that may last. She was determined to enjoy every day she was capable of being up on her feet. He blinked as Seanna walked over to him and as did Evania in her trail who he noticed was getting tired. Reaching out he brought Evania down into his lap and held her as she looked tired before looking then at Seanna. "Just a long day and my mind was drifting... You two look like you guys are getting along." He smiled as Kira would make her way out of Solan's trenchcoat, the small Ashlan wolf curling up into the lap of Evania while Solan held his daughter.
