How would you write this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzsfyxACV7M

I am mainly going with the marker 1:34 to 1:41. I am curious how you would write such a move properly as I would like to use the move (not to kill, just the move itself, I am a lady Jedi after all.), but I am not liking the ways I have tried so far. Any help would be most appreciated.

The same way he does. If you have the strength and flexibility to do it than it is literally just a hop and cross body stab.

If strength is an issue for your character then as you get to you opponent you would "step" on their thigh with your lead foot and spring off of it up towards their shoulder and cross body stab.

"Lynn charged opponent her hand tightly gripping her sword. First faking left to throw her opponent off she shot to the right planting her left foot on her opponents thigh to spring off it towards his same side shoulder. Her hand angling her sword diagonally and slightly down she thrust aiming for the soft spot where the neck and shoulder met."

Or something to that effect.

It's a matter of judging the opponent. He's big and brutish, a heavy fighter that is used to dominating by his strength, clearly. It's also an attack of opportunity. He does the same move twice to Hector, once with Spear, once with Sword and is blocked both times by the more nimble and aware opponent.

A lot of Fighters here are both large AND swift lol.

If I were to write it?

Feet carried her athletic build at great haste, her mind focusing entirely on the task at hand; to expire foe to brisk end. Pace strengthened, she surge forth as deathly wind. Her opponent brought Blade back to swipe with angled slash from over his dominant, right shoulder. Lynn, ever attentive, took brief lean left, letting hips angle and stride bear heavy weight as she feinted to the principal side of this mans strength. Then with ferocious press of heft she sprang, left hand prodding mans right shoulder, her arm blunting his strong attack, as she plunged down with searing blade point to collar. Momentum carrying her through the man as she struck, unbalancing his strong stance.

His life was ended in but one aimed blow.

Hmm well going into this blindly as Churrit but .....were guess if were writing such an incident as you've posed the question be would say it be like.....

"As a hush settled within the gathered crowd that from the foreground a lone figure came. Seem insignificant and petite thought still in the midst of the tension-filled flanks of the defender. She seems if anything but hope .... a chance that perhaps. As such with silent repose, those close to her path let her thru. Till eventually she stood in the forefront of the crowd. Flanking on her side was one the senior commander who under held breath though without words. Let his emotion get the best of him as the thought linger on what was to be lost. Rather than what was to be the gain in letting reasoning rather than brute force come into play. As such being attuned to the force as she was this if anything had not but lost on her as such. She couldn't help but doubt and her inexperience cloud her judgment that she'd almost turn to walk away. Thinking what if any could one such as her accomplish when from the sideline. A gentle hand came rest upon her shoulder and with it the lone words coming from her Master.

" Remember and don't be dishearten ......we are here to serve as a beacon to those that had been lost to the darkness. So these men as well those on the other side opposing us. As guardians, we uphold such oath....for all as keeper of the peace."

With such looking up at the Elder Master gaze her heart couldn't help but swell with hope. Burning brightly as it had that with a nod she turns to walk across the battlefield.
Meeting the enemy envoy in the banner of truce when from the side. Just as the two met. A lone assassin came to do harm to them but with quick thinking. Being but a blur she drops the man onto his back as his eyes seem wild with rage gaze at her.

She then with gentle grace back down and lift him up to his feet. Secure to tie his hand with the sash of her cloak. Leaving those present in awe. Things could have gone very badly and yet with gentle grace and fortitude she'd shown them. As the assassin turn his gaze in shame of what he'd done. Blinded by rage as he was earlier that slowly dissipated in a moment of clarity. As her action help diffuse and show those present the reality of the lie they had been under...that honoring those that died was best served with ending the conflict rather than ending their enemy at the cost of losing all those they held dear and fought for.....that of family those life lost left behind.....that they would leave in peace and lived even in their passing. "

...just something whipped up in a fly so excuse the craziness of the writing.
