STRENGTHS
- | Alternate Fire Modes | The HS 'Indra' Heavy Blaster Pistol comes with a multitude of different fire modes, with its stun configuration, slug configuration, and blaster configuration. The stun configuration is fairly self-explanatory, incapacitating targets that require a less-than-lethal approach. The slug configuration can deliver slugs at the speed and velocity of those fired from Verpine shatterguns, using rounds of the wielder's choice. The blaster configuration has several fire modes; Semi-automatic single shot, linked fire, and rapid-fire. Linked fire can discharge bolts from both barrels simultaneously, resulting in a high-powered, high-impact shot guaranteed to send a target flying. Rapid-fire alternates the barrel from which it fires, giving it a higher rate of fire than the semi-automatic mode.
- | Sturdy Ol' Reliable | The HS 'Indra' Heavy Blaster Pistol is a sturdy and reliable piece of hardware. It will get you out in a pinch and won't malfunction when you need it most. Meticulous and careful construction has made it a trustworthy sidearm to have and will deliver on everything you expect it to do without much fuss or problems as long as your grip is strong and your aim is steady.
- | Recoil Control | As is to be expected from a hand cannon-esque weapon, the HS 'Indra' Heavy Blaster Pistol does pack quite a kick, especially in its slug configuration and linked fire mode. While the recoil in stun, semi-automatic, and rapid-fire modes for the blaster configuration are relatively stable and manageable, the recoil packs quite a kick in comparison and will take careful preparation so as to not injure yourself.
- | Sighting | The HS 'Indra' Heavy Blaster Pistol lacks any sort of proper iron sights on the weapon itself, instead relying on electronic HUDs in order to effectively fire with the most accuracy. Firing it in such a manner will require extensive practice and coordination or a lot of luck.
DESCRIPTION
The HS ' Indra' Heavy Blaster Pistol is ApexTech's answer to a robust and reliable pistol in the market. Featuring a texturized, electronic grip, the Indra's reticule, ammo counter, and features can be linked to a compatible HUD system, ensuring that one is always aware of how it is without it falling or slipping from one's hand in the event that it gets wet (or bloodied). With its biometric safety, the Indra is completely harmless in the hands of an individual who may have disarmed the wielder, only able to fire when in the hands of any individual it has been specifically keyed to. Finger guards help to protect the wielder while in hand and for additional stability when held with both hands. The main draw to using the Indra is its versatility in combat, featuring high-impact modes such as its linked fire and slug modes will ensure that if whatever is hit isn't dead outright, it will certainly put them out of commission. For standard or sticky situations, the semi-automatic and rapid-fire modes will also certainly help deal with any hostiles not packing any serious armor.
