The HT Sensor Suite combines a handful of common scanners into one chip, designed to save space and reduce the labor of installing multiple sensors into one droid. The chip can be used as-is, or the components can be altered to add, remove, or boost current sensors. Depending on where and what it is installed in, most units will not be able to use all sensors at the same time, at least not without the potential for lag and crashing. The majority of units experience no lag issues when using several sensors at once or flipping between sensors.
Lifeform scanner - Allows user to detect living beings from a distance, including those using basic cloaking devices, stealth fields, and sound dampeners.
Infrared motion sensor - A thermal sensor that can detect heat and motion in near or total darkness.
Long range terrain scanner – Useful for obtaining topographical data during environmental surveillance.
Surveillance scanner – Allows user to detect comm signals, electromagnetic fields, power fluctuations, listening bugs, hidden observers, and electronic surveillance.
Combat scanner – Provides real-time data of mission statistics with a mapping and navigation suite.
Commlink - Programmable commlink capabilities as long as the proper hardware is installed.
Electrobinoculars – Programmable electrobinocular capabilities as long as the proper hardware is installed.
The HT Sensor Suite is recommended for use in droids, armor HUD systems, and small vehicles such as speeders and bikes. For larger vehicles and ships, the HT Sensor Suite will likely not be powerful enough to fit the unit's needs unless it is heavily boosted.
