Public Hunt for Artifacts 2|OF

[Varloc]

Location: Aboard the Avenger In orbit of Absit.

Tags: Signal Zula Krijak and any other members of the Order of the Force.

The Avenger jumped from hyperspace into the planets orbit, Varloc was in search of an artifact which supposedly help immense power. Varloc stood on the bridge of the ship, with multiple officers behind him awaiting orders. Scan everything in the planets orbit. He then remembered a piece of information about the asteroid that circled the planet. It should be about a half a mile wide. Yes sir, scanning now. Said an officer. Varloc waited a moment for the scan to complete. Sir we believe we have found the asteroid, but it seems that a starship has landed on it, we can't identify it. There are a few places a shuttle can board this asteroid, which brings me to believe this isnt any asteroid. Move the ship to the aster... object, and me and a squad will board it and rid of the mystery people. He then left the deck and headed to the hanger.

When he arrived at the hanger he spoke to a captain of some of his troopers. Prepare your best 8 men and get on my ship, we are going on a mission.

 

[Zula Krijak]

Not a lover of open warfare like her counterpart Signal, Zula perceived an opportunity. She stood, idly floating a softly glowing orb by her side, making it spin in the air. My lord, she bowed, snatching the orb and stowing it beneath her robes, I ask your permission to advance onto the structure separately from your troops, that we may sneak further in while the other intruders are preoccupied. I act on your command.

Varloc looked at the Knight, he thought for a moment. Yes go, but be careful I believe that these are no pirates, but sith, not form the TSE maybe some independent sith group. Varloc then nodded to Zula Krijak to go.

Shortly after Zula's departure the captain came to Varloc. The squad is ready sir, we may leave when you are ready. Thank you captain, you may board the ship.

 

[Zula Krijak]

I will be careful, my lord. Zula made her way to a boarding vessel. After some fiddling with the controls, these stupid controls make no sense, she set off, directing her landing craft away from the squad's planned route where she could approach the structure undetected. As she approached the asteroid-like object, she scanned the area as best as she could to determine the nature of it.

 

[Signal]

After hearing that there were some sort of Sith presence on the asteroid like object, Signal exclaimed What are we waiting for then? Let's go kill those sith scum Remembering his time at the sith academy and how poorly he was treated, the torture, the beatings... Signal clenches his fists as he remembers the horrors he's experienced, he then turns towards the ship and preps his gear waiting for the Emperors signal and plan of attack.

Ok the plan is simple. Capture the enemy ship and enter the "Asteroid", we capture or kill if needed the sith. Varloc then entered the ship, he turned to Signal and the pilot. let's go.

The ship then moved to the asteroid and docked to a door. Scanners indicate there is a artificial atmosphere. Varloc then left the ship with the soilders and Signal. He walked through dimly light halls of stone and some mechanical pieces.He then sensed the presence of the sith. There are 3 of them, I don't know where they are, careful. He moved on through the dark halls.

 

[Signal]

Signal, now filled with hatred, disregards Varloc 's comment about being careful and decides to move up ahead of the group and senses someone was going to be around the corner. Signal, disregarding everything else, charges up towards the shadowy figure, upon contact, Signal realizes it was one of the Sith he was hearing so much about and ignites his saber which was pointing towards the Sith's chest, killing him instantly. Luckily the little encounter wasn't too loud and it didn't seem like anyone else heard it and so Signal continues moving forward silently killing every Sith he sees.

[Varloc]

Varloc saw Signal chop down a sith and then he saw the sith coming up from behind Signal, but Signal rage clouded his focus. Varloc used the force to pull the other sith towards himself, Varloc then ignited his lightsaber to block the attack sent by the sith.

The two clashed the two lightsabers clashing creating flashes that lite up the room. Varloc now understands that this must be the master, for he fought with such ferocity. Out of the corner of Varlocs eye he saw soilders, not his, coming out of a doorway, these soilders were not sith troopers, most likely mercenaries. As the sith and Varloc fought, the mercenaries charged Signal and his own troopers.

Varloc focused back on the fight at hand, they exchanged strikes and parries. Then Varloc descovered a weakness, he then kicked the sith master in 5he leg and Force pushed him into the wall, then he took his saber and drove it straight into the sith, killing him.

Varloc turned to see a fight under way, he deflected shots with his saber and he activated his comlink. Zula Krijak are you there? We know that one sith still remains, if you find the sith, kill it. We are currently fighting off a small mercenary army. He turned off the comlink and jumped into battle.
