Ambria, Local Starport

Alexandra had shown up to the meeting location and waited as she grabbed at the canteen on her waist and drew her head back to drink from it. Today she was Maria Pellaeon though, a name that she had created along with some fake records to help her get around as an Archaeologist looking for rare and valuable relics of the past, and today's target was a Holocron. The Holocron of Thon with which she was holding a rather focused interest in for quite a while, of course, though she knew finding it would not be so easy as to turn over a few rocks on a planet and stumble on it, otherwise it would have happened decades ago which left her on Ambria with her next clue as to where it might be hidden.
She had to that end contacted a jedi who was more than interested in finding the relic that had been lost to the past. Of course the stipulation was that the Jedi would be able to study the relic before Alex brought it to a museum... well 'museum' being one of the temples that the order of the grey owned. She figured that she would spring that news on the Jedi once they had the Holocron in hand and could make their way back to one of the temples without someone jumping them and taking it right from their grasp.
To that end Alexandra smiled and leaned back against the wall, kicking the back of her foot onto it and waiting as she looked at the clouds far above them on the plain covered world. Why was it that Jedi always enjoyed worlds with nothing but plains to stretch in every direction. A shady location with a great deal of trees was by far much nicer than some plain.

Karen dismounted her jumpship with a nod to her helm and trotted down the ramp in her purple EVA. She secured her small disruption carbine to her hip and checked her twin swords to her belt. Okay. Let's do this. She pulled her jetbike out from ship's docking clamps and hoped in the saddle. Firing her up with a rev and a purr. Yum. Because nothing say's adventure like the hum of a E-class tri-repulsion motor.

She secured her glassteel helm and drove out of the bay. Making it all the way outside of the Ambria Starport before stopping to check her helm's GPS uplink. She slowed her bike to a crawl and noticed that [member="Alexandra Feanor"] , (Maria,) data location was just nearby. Oh? Good. Then this would be faster than she thought. She pulled her bike around and hit the gas. Holocron hunting, here we come.

...

Robert's drove up on her hovering jetbike and gave Maria a nod of her helm. Her voice only somewhat distorted by her glass helm as she spoke. Though, Karen's Force Aura was bright as an afternoon sun.

"...Pellaeon?"

Roberts leaned back in the saddle. Making sure this was the place.

Alexandra capped the canteen as Karen appeared off to her right. It was good that the woman had brought a jetbike of her own, made things much faster and more interesting seeing as they wouldn't need to hitchike of eachother and that left them in a much easier position.

"Yes, and i assume you are miss Roberts. A pleasure to meet you." Her hand waved to the woman as she made her way over to the waiting speeder of her own, sweeping her legs over it and starting it while she looked over to the woman and continued. "I was able to dig up a few records here and there and the favored training ground of the one we are looking for should be about an hour to the south if we get working at it. Not too far but we will run out of light by the end of the day if i am not wrong considering that we are looking for a needle in a haystack. Hopefully the ruins have a clue that someone missed."

She would wait for Karen to understand and nod, or answer her with words, before starting towards the outskirts of ths spaceport and from there across the plains of the planet with Karen behind her, the black hair being sent flying behind her while she held onto the controls of the speeder tightly. She couldn't wait to find the holocrons and inside them the information long forgotten in the past, and with it the power that she so desperately needed in order to be certain she understood her own powers.

"Yeah. Let's do it."

Karen liked that Maria had brought her own vehicle and was willing to jump straight to the task. It was a mark of professionalism and foresight than many adventurers of her class sorely lacked.

She kicked the bike into gear and followed suit.

...

An hour later they had indeed run out of day light. A pink and flourishing dusk surrounded them as the she slowed to the training site. Though, it didn't look anything special to Roberts. She pulled her bike to a halt and withdrew her viewfinders from her saddle bags. Sweeping an eye over the area and scanning for physical anomalies.

Nothing. Meh.

So Karen placed her finder across the seat and waited for Maria to take the lead again. To be honest, Karen just sat in saddle and did absolutely nothing for about ten minutes. Rather she took the time to watch Maria work. See how the woman did business. Eye her gait and observe her explorations. Looking for any subtle clue that could give away the woman's secrets. Or rather... Tell Karen if she was working with a professional or just another treasure kiddie with a lust for Force Artifacts.

She also probed Maria's mind inside the echo chambers of the Force. Searching for curiosities, empathizes, solidarity, and moments of thrill or anxiety. It was an evaluation that Karen usually reserved only for commandos or fellow kill operators. However. Given this was a solo job out in the middle of nowhere-galaxy? Roberts felt relaxed enough to size up her companion in every way possible. Again. Searching for a professional, a newb, or just another moron treasure hunter. Wondering just which one Maria was going to turn out to be.

The usual.

Alexandra wasn't surprised in not finding an enclave, if it had been that easy then they would have been beaten to the holocron long ago. But what she found made her more than sure they were on the right track as the area was largely undisturbed after the last few thousand years. That was sure and her smile grew as she shut off the engine and immediately got off her speeder before landing onto the grass and breathing in. She didn't stand there for long but she was taking in the air while she still had the chance to.

Her own actions would mirror that of someone who had done this for a very long time, securing the area with some scanning and sediment probes. The probes were long poles with the sensor near the insertion point whie the control bulb remained at the top, allowing all information found to be quickly gathered together and kept in sight without any problems arising from a disrupted signal.

All while she did this, she was more than away of Karen's watchful eyes, or own ears trained on the woman and listening to her breath and any movements made by the woman. It wasn't that she didn't trust the woman, infact the opposite. Thanks to information from the Vahlan moron that she worked with most of the time and that sought her out for every injury past a cut, she actually had a good deal of trust in Karen. But to Karen surprise, probing 'Maria's' mind would not be a simple task.

Almost instantly Karen would hit a wall, purposefully to keep her and others out but it was obvious that Alexandra herself didn't even notice the probing. Instead two other minds would answer back as they met Karen's own intruding mind with a greeting of their own.

"Hello there...."

"A Pleasure to meet you."

Well. That was different.

~ "Umm. Sorry. ...Wrong number." ~

Karen showed herself out. Of Maria's mind that is. She wasn't a dedicated mentalist and meeting other people inside someone else's head was just not normal. For mind reading, that is. So best to stay safe and just walk away before the really weird stuff started to happen. Besides. I'm sure there was a perfectly good reason that three people might be occupying the same head space. ...Kinda.

Robert's scratched her helm with a loose finger and looked around the site again. Mmm. Very odd.

"Um... Maria? Are you sure there is anything here? I mean... Place looks pretty dead weight to me. We'd need a whole dig team to start excavating any of this mess. I'm not really sure we'll find anything useful out here."

That was kinda the thing about a thousand years of dust and sediment build up. It usually meant whatever you were looking for was long since buried. Still? Maybe ol' three-headed Doctor Pellaeon here had something new up her sleeve.

"You know, that Vahlan idiot had told me that you were a smart one, so im sure that this all would looka little weird to anyone... and sorry for Daeda's and Hel's interruption into your curiosity. They are used to trying to keep people out of my head at this point that it was reflexive to let them be my wall towards your intrusion." She might as well tell the woman who she was considering that she wouldn't be able to explain what she was looking for by simply saying it in scientific terms because how should would do this is not through scientific means alone and would give away her sensitivity and training near immediately.

"Anyways, you are correct, if i was looking for a text, or datapad, or anything normal to give me a clue i would be as out of luck as every one in the past had been. Instead i am not looking for a piece of physical evidence but rather a place here the long forgotten evidence has been collected to give me a better understanding of how the area had been used long ago. Where they would rest and most importantly where they would meditate. I have a date of when Nomi Sunrider had last met Thon on this planet so it would take me a bit of searching through times specifically to find what i am looking for to be sure but..." She paused as she realized her explanation was helping.

"Do you know of the two abilities called Flow Walking and Beyond Shadows?"

If Karen's helmet could have displayed her complete and utter bafflement? Yeah. It probably would have right about now.

"Uhhh... Actually. Yeah. I sorta do?"

She really did. Robert's herself had dabbled in those twin skills in her search for the fragments of the Dagger of Mortis following The Akala Incident. Again. It wasn't something your usual run of the mill Jedi knew about. Heck. How in the world did an egghead looking for Holocrons know... Nevermind. Why was she even bothering at this point,

"So... Not to be picky or anything but? What's the real story here? I mean... People in your head. Flow walking as a curiosity. An attunement for Force meditation echo-location. It's all too much really. ...Come on now. Fess up dear. I promise not to disintegrate you. Erm. ...Mostly."

She smiled under her helm but didn't move from the seat of her bike. She'd been doing this kinda thing long enough to know something was up. Which? It almost always is, in these sort of situations.

Huh. Weird.

"Force meditation echo-location... got to write that one down to try out later... No im using the tech to find out where the best place to start would be with my work through flow walking... guess i should explain."

She paused from what she was doing and grinned before making sure she couldn't sense anyone for the next dozen miles or so. Only then did her shoulders relax and she stretched abit while she began to talk once more.

"My name is Alexandra Feanor, my colleague Charr told me about you so i decided to give the Jedi he trusted a quick call and here we are. As for the two other voice, one belongs to this little guy right here..." She paused and waited for a white ball of fur appeared from her bag, its features wolf like. "And the other belongs to a nasty spirit that got trapped up inside my head. Sorry to deceive you initially but i am just as skilled as you with the force Lady Roberts and am actually the Historian for that Order of force users on Alderaan, the one that is about two hundred miles south of Aldera. Does that explain enough or do you need to hear my long story of how i decided to sit down one day and meditate and train for years with the two abilities in question."

She didn't sound hostile, no instead she only sounded just as curious as Karen was. Sure she probably left the woman with more questions than answers but they did have work to get to so she was giving her the abridged version of an explanation into how she would try and track down where to go next considering it could very well simply lead them right back to the starport and off to another planet. She never expected finding the holocron to be easy, she just hoped she didn't ruin the search for the Jedi by having to stop being the scientist so quickly... she really needed something better than those two inside her head to protect her mind.

It's... Gonna be one of those days.

Karen took her helm off for this next part. Ahh. Letting her long brown hair feather down across her shoulders and taking a great big breath of air. Mmm. Much better.

"Tell ya what. You just do your thing? ...And I'll try concentrating enough Force energy here so we can both figure this little mess out. Yeah?"

It was the nice of saying, skip it. Let's just do this and go home.

"Also. I'm going to kill Solan one of these days. I really, really am."

SoonTM.

"Look at it this way, if it had not been for him, id have one hand on my blade at all times waiting for you to try and betray me as well as hiding the fact that i could use to force from you as best i can... making us have to sit here for many hours longer. Im sure that is a benefit to that moron keeping his life... after all i assume you wanted a peek into the holocron?"

She didn't wait for an answer as she moved to sit down and bring her hands into her lap. Her breath would slow ever so much at the same rate as her heart started to slow. Both would seem to cease after a few seconds and instead of Alexandra being inside that body, her being would be noticeably missing from it while the small white form of an Ashlan wolf moved out of a bag on her speed to run over to her. There it would sit and keep watch with a bottle of water in its mouth, ready to tend to Alexandra's body incase she started to overexert herself. All the while it kept an eye on Karen with its own grin, a very toothy and wolfish one at that.

Robert's dismounted and placed her helm on the saddle. Somewhat unmoved by Maria's... Erm, [member="Alexandra Feanor"] 's plea.

"Something like that. Yeah."

She didn't have any real designs upon the Holocron. Just make sure it's real, log it as found, and keep it out of the hands of the Sith. That's pretty much as far as her interest in Holocrons went these days. Robert's herself owned a Holocron or two, and actually found the cubes to be rather boring. But hey? That's just me.

Karen made a seat for herself in the highest place she could find. Sitting down, she anchored herself to the Force and began to channel it's energies into the present. She could either serve as Feanor's anchor back into the timely present or simply as a spare reservoir of energy for her continued travels into the realm of Shadows. Either or. Doing her best to remain optimistic that this ancient Jedi ritual would provide some answers to their search.

Alexandra in the meantime would have floated beyond the real world and the present time, staring at the blackness of space before drawing her body through time to the date that she had looked for in older texts. In truth it was like trying to drop a penny into a glass of water from the top of a skyscraper, of course she knew that this would be a one shot kind of deal but she was able to narrow down a time well enough by using a few key records. She knew Nomi had remained on the planet for a umber of years, how many was recorded but rather the date she left wasn't. The next date detailing her passage was a log from space but that would have provided her with an idea as to where things would be able to be held in place.

In short she was using the date from the Starlog and the position that the log had been found to go backwards and decide when would have been the time that Nomi had left, then dialed it back a few days more for preparation of a ship. This left her drawing time and space apart to leave her standing in a time long past, leaving her looking at the face of a young Nomi Sunrider and Thon himself who was teaching the young girl. 'Gotcha...' she said to herself. Now she would just need a key detail.

The conversation that happened before her was all something she was not focused on. Instead she waited for a place to be named. All she needed was that one place to be named before she was dragged back to the present by her own reserves of energy falling through.

Roberts opened up her eyes and nodded to the day. She stood and let her palm touch the earth where the anchor would remain. She had harnessed as much latent energy as she could and created a reservoir at the place of her sitting. It was the most she could do for the time being. The rest all lay with the Force. And, with [member="Alexandra Feanor"] .

In the mean time she returned to her bike and withdrew her phone from the journey bags. Making a long mental note to remember to bring more reading material next time. So as the other woman delved through the shadows to find their great location? Karen cursed this backwater world for not having free wifi at her beg and call. Savages. How dare they disrupt her first world problems.

"Poo."

She frowned and clicked again.

"Oh well. Guess there's nothing for it."

Roberts returned her gaze to the meditating woman nearby and nodded. Man. This could take hours.
