Hunting Jedi (Alexandra/Sith Welcome)

Location: Coruscant, lower city

There had been word of Jedi running to the under city. It was as much truth as word of mouth from smugglers. But, it was Darth Nexus' only lead on surviving Jedi and he intended on following it up. He would be their death, the cold embrace of the void would be their end. For he was the black of night, the void. The never end purposeless Nexus, he would destroy them and they would feel his pain before the end. He moved, silently through the crowds. Their eyes drawn to him as he stood nearly 9 feet in height, adorned with the armour of his own design.

It inspired fear, the saber hilt at his right thigh. Thick and heavy, too big for any normal being to use properly. The red beams of hate that leapt from the helmet ripped into the souls of those who caught their gaze. However, the Sith Lord remained silent. He would not become like the famed [member="Darth Mierin"], he would not become idle and forget the truth of the world and it's rough exterior and interior. He would have no servants, none to do his bidding. If he was to bring down the iron fist of the Sith, it would be with his own two hands. He would feel his enemies crumble beneath him, not beneath those who carried his intentions.

However powerful you may be, you never will earn enough to lie to yourself enough to believe your intentions are important enough to pass down to the inferior, for that is what they are. Inferior, and shall not speak nor kill for him, not should they for any Sith Lord. It was a weakness many of them shared, one he would not abide.

Nexus had been searching the lower levels of coruscant for a few days in total and had found 2 Jedi in total, two knights being smuggled off of Coruscant by a local smuggling gang, no survivors. Now, Nexus was following up on the whispers of a Master and his padawan and a group of younglings. The Jedi would run as they always do, but they would not escape him.

Alexandra leaned against the wall as she spun her saber in her hand, eyes tracing the edge of it as it turned into a unending circle in her hand. She was down in the lower depths for the time to see if she could find anyone that held a force sensitivity and if there were she would see if they belonged to the path of the Sith or if there was but another path she could promise them, of course this likely gave her a bad reputation among the Sith planet side but she didn't worry about that for now.

I couldn't believe my luck. A pretty new Nubian Yacht and a combat mission in the same day?

Hell yes.

All I had to do was meet [member="Darth Nexus"] in the underlevels of Coruscant. He'd provide people to fry, adrenaline to rush into me, and some major ass-whooping to be had.

This was going to be so much fun.

[member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

Darvix Iras, a young Jedi padawan stood alongside his Master, a couple of other Knights and a small group of whimpering younglings had taken refuge in the depths of the Under City. They were all uneasy, they could feel the presence of a Dark Lord in the streets. It was like he was everywhere, it was a sickening and truly haunting feeling, it felt like the Sith Lord was right behind him. Peering over him and watching his every movement. The Knights looked stressed and Kelee Salmath, Darvix's Master sat silently however, her back turned to them all. She was meditating, and Darvix admired that. She could remain calm even in a time like this, she was a true jedi. Someone he could look up to, someone he could rely on when things got bad. He knew she'd never let him down, he could find comfort in that. If anything.

The Sith Lord Nexus had begun his hunt, he could smell the fear of Jedi nearby. He had been searching for what felt like hours. However, he knew where he was headed. A local smuggling group were infamous for having eyes and ears everywhere, even in the upper city. Nexus would gather information from them, by whatever means necessary. Nexus began on his way towards the smugglers known home, a nearby bar known as the "Slug and Snail" what an absurd name, however he waited outside the building for [member="Evard L'Rik"]. A sith like himself who intended on meeting him there. However, he didn't show soon enough, and Nexus head inside.

The Dark Lords presence was more than enough to make those around him stop in their tracks. The room was alive with guards, their leader. A twi'lek male sat comfortable with two zabraks female dressed in tight and quite revealing clothing pampering the man. Then his eyes slipped to the giant clad in armour carrying the saber at his belt. "Aw, crap Sith! Honey's get out the back. I've got some business to attend to..." His silence was broke as the Sith Lord unleashed a powerful force wave in all directions, crushing the guards into the walls. Most died, others forever crippled. However, the twi'lek was far more foolish than Nexus anticipated, using the power of speed. The sith launched into the Twi'lek before he could grab the pistol merely inches away from his grip. Nexus massive metal clad hand ripped through flesh and bone as it clenched the twi'leks arm. He whaled in pain as Nexus twisted it, even slightly. "Tell me what you know of the Jedi taking refuge here." There was a moment of silence as the twi'lek searched his mind for answers, Nexus shook his body loosely like a rag doll and barked for an answer. "NOW!"

I leaned against the door frame, lightning arcing between my fingers.

"You know, I'd answer him. Unless you happen to like the idea of a blade slowly cutting you to pieces. Anyway, sorry I'm late, Nexus."

Alexandra sighed as she heard the all too... loud noise coming from inside and after pushing herself off the wall she moved towards the front door, pausing as person after person walked out and strode right on into the same room to look at the two sith before speaking out loud. "What are a pair of morons like you two doing? I was trying to think and then suddenly i hear the sound of a bunch of dim witted sith messing up a perfectly legitimate business..." She crossed her arms and made no attempt to hide the sabers at her side nor her presence in the force, after all what she saw before her was one who couldn't be that strong in the force and over zealous moron holding a twilik by the neck... that was the neck he was holding she thought..."

[member="Evard L'Rik"] [member="Darth Nexus"]

Nexus' gaze turned from the boy who was meant to meet him to the woman standing, arms folded and barking insults and accusations. He no longer needed the Twi'lek, he had already ripped through his mind telepathically and taken the details on a small group of Jedi and with that, Ruth what looked like an effortless and quick slap, the Twi'lek's neck was horrible twisted and his body flipped from the sheer momentum and landed in a heap. The Sith Lord turned his full body to her, he recognised her. However he could not place her. However, he could sense her presence entirely, as she revealed, so did no. He relinquished his ability to scatter his force signature and brought it hammering down upon him. Making Alexandra fully aware of what he was. He didn't even motion for his Lightsaber, even if they engaged in combat there would be no point. He would strong enough to break people's wrists and dislocate their arms with a single swing from his blade. His physical strength was without peer, it would be a pointless endeavour far any who attempted it. "What do you, want?" Nexus asked, his voice calm and low. His eyes hidden behind his helmet, shifting across her body. His mind using his recently discovered ability of shatterpoint, he had been lucky to recieve the data-cron like he did and now, he could implement it in battle.

"A, I want you to first realize what you did and the consequences of this, as i thought the Sith were suppose to be a the good guys now, good to know that you are still with the breed of morons that came before the One Sith. Or maybe its just their higher leadership that finally grew a brain. B, i want you to introduce yourselves so that i know who it is thats stupid enough to cause a scene and ruin the One Sith's reputation all for, what was it, some Jedi? And C, i want you to drop your sabers and come with me because from what i just witnessed, you have caused the death of a number of men, destroyed a private residence, oh and you destroyed that man's mind i would assume, seeing as you killed him without him responding to you." She didn't so much as hesitate in her speech, she couldn't give two flying karks about what he thought he was, she didn't care what he tried to make himself look like, he needed to realize the path he had just taken.

[member="Darth Nexus"]

And now, he knew who he was talking to. "Last time I check, Smuggling was illegal and frankly I doubt any of the body guards I killed aren't fellons, and this Smuggler, this poor insignificant man has helped SMUGGLE fugitives and Jedi on and off planet. Including those I've just discovered. This is [member="Evard L'Rik"] and I am Darth Nexus, Sith Lord of the One Sith and a empty void for Jedi. You wish for me to give you my weapons? I would sooner become a dancer for a hutt than surrendered what belongs to me to you, [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]! Now, if you'd excuse me. I have business to intend to." He would not speak with her any longer and began his march to the main entrance, boots heavy and loud like drums of war.

However, he was certain she would try and stop him. He did not care, her purpose was false and therefore she was. He had nothing more to say to her.

Alexandra sighed and didn't move an inch, "Your Name, your real one. I want it right now." She had her hands on her sabers now and her mind fell inwards as she stood there, preparing a barrier around her and her mind in the case that things are worsened than they are at the time. "And as for the Jedi, i have already been tracking their movements and you just ruined the one i had been watching to see how many others helped Jedi. So i ask again, give me your weapons and surrender."

[member="Darth Nexus"]

He didn't stop, brushing past [member="Evard L'Rik"] on his way out. It woukd be right about now Alexandra would gather that Nexus did not care. That he would never care, he had no reason to and unless she attacked he never would. He was aware [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] would come after him. He wouldn't speak to her, he had made his decision and short of a blade in his back would make him hard to find.

Pshh... He'd killed the witness... Whoop de doo. What the hell was I supposed to do now? Hand my nonexistent weapons to the blonde woman yelling at me? No.

Plus, she'd have to literally detach my arm to take my weapon. No dice, lady. I was going to stand there as long as it took to get an answer, no matter how much she outranked me.

"So, my lord.... What was that little fit about?"

She stared at the two men as they passed by and without so much as a care, she followed them. She didn't like the man, this nexus, and if he thought she was going to just let him get away he was kidding himself. With that her feet fell on the ground lightly and her sabers were in hand as she moved to keep track of where they were.

I just followed [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. I could understand her anger at the idiot killing his one and only witness, but why was she angry at me?

"Seriously, what did I do? It's not like I, unlike you, can pull rank on the guy. He's a Lord, and I'm an acolyte. Simple as that. Actually, I could hold my own against him, but I'm not testing that, for the moment. Anyway, are we looking for a particularly strong Jedi or something? Cos otherwise, this really sin't worth the trouble when we could be recruiting."

"Two Jedi Knights, a Master, a padawan and a small group of younglings. Younglings, easily recruited. Padawan? A little bit more effort. The Knights and Master? They will not fall." The Sith Lord spoke no further, he was aware of the Girl trailing him and now it seemed the boy who was meant to meet him was now siding with her. He tired of this, and allowed the power of force scattering to reduce their capabilities of finding him, that way he was able to become lost in the crowd and just to be certain, as soon as he was able to turn a corner he burst into a sprint with the power of the force. His mastery of the ability allowing him to be gone within a blink of an eye and as soon as either of his two stalkers would turn the corner, the trail would be too cold and he would find the Jedi before they would find him.

Darvix could feel the sweat dripping from his forehead. He knew the Sith was coming, they all did. Even if Darvix was practically a Jedi Knight, he still worried for the younglings, his master and the others. Then, in the dead silence of the coruscanti night. Massive, mechanical marching could be heard. Not far off, and this drew the attention of all three of the young jedi, his Master was speaking to the younglings. Directing them to somewhere to hide, they ran off and hurdled up behind a massive crate. Their eyes peering from behind the crate, they would see this. Three Knights, technically and a Master against a Sith Lord. He would of liked to be optimistic, but he couldn't help but be afraid. But, he was always told that Fear led to Anger, Anger led to Hate, and Hate led to Suffering. He would have to keep these words in mind for the battle to come. Then, as the footsteps drew closer all of them drew their blades. Darvix's was blue, the other two's were green and orange and his Master carried a Blue Double blade. Both blades active, he had never seen such a level of concentration on anyone's face. Darvix was certain that his Master along with their help could stop the Sith, but these thoughts were interrupted as the Sith Lord appeared and everything went wrong.

Nexus stood in the open between two warehouse buildings, noting that the Jedi were huddled up into a corner in between three interlocking buildings. Three Knights, a Master and the poorly hidden younglings as promised. He took a few steps forward and saw the fear ever growing on the faces of those around him, and he hadn't even activated his blade yet. Nor did he intend on doing so, not yet. "Now!" the Jedi Master urged, the three Knights were hesitant but engaged with the Master. Nexus' mind analysed and studied their footwork quickly and composed a tactical approach in his mind within seconds. First, he allowed his body to overflow with darkside energy and the force. His fists clenching as he readied himself to unleash a powerful wave of force telekinesis, Darvix was the first to reach him. Blue blade raised high and swinging diagonally to the left. However, before his blade could reach Nexus the wave of force energy sent all but the Master hurdling backwards into the warehouse walls. It was clear these Jedi were unblooded in combat, one of them was even knocked out cold. His green blade falling to the ground his body landing in a heap on top of one of the crates. All three of the remaining Jedi gave the unconscious fellow a worried look, and then continued onward. However, it took a moment before the fatigue worn off of the two Knights left standing. However, the Master was ready to engage. Leaping in with a spinning kick and a swirl of her saber, she clearly was unaware of the physical prowess of the mountain of armour before her, or his mastery of the force. His reflexes kicked in as everything slowed down and he narrowly, but efficiently dodged quick jabs from the Jed Master before summoning his blade to his hand, and at this point; the Knights were running to their Master. Darth Nexus spun around and brought up his blade to connect with the left blade of the Master's saber. In a blink of an eye Nexus had brought himself down to one knee to bring his blade upward, the pure momentum snapped the double blade back and flying from Master's hands, then as fear, horror and surprise filled Nexus' field of vision. He delivered a kick to her stomach that sent her rocketing across the ground into a heap of muck and crates.

Darvix's eyes watered as his Master was sent down rather quickly and with what looked like effortless precision. Now, all of his past notions of victory were swept from his mind. They were doomed, the Knight that had fallen badly was now waking up. But, had no time to offer any sort of aid as Nexus leaped upwards and past the two knights approaching him and used force telekinesis to throw the unsuspecting Knight right into Darvix who was unable to dodge his fellow Jedi coming at him at that speed, which sent them both hurdling backwards and then the last Knight decided to engage Nexus alone. "Fool." Nexus spoke, but anger filled his face as he charged the Sith. However, as he opened his blade up to swing. The Sith Lord unleashed a powerful torrent of force lightning into the man, he screamed and fell to the ground. His body cramping up and squirming under the pure cruelty of the Dark Side, Nexus smiled under his helmet. "Feel the Dark Side!" He sneered, his voice full of contempt and mockery. Darvix pushed the dead Knight's body from on top of himself and slowly crawled to his feet, watching the scene unfold before him. Nexus looked to him, "You cannot save them, you cannot save your beloved Master or your fellow Jedi. Just like how you couldn't save your friends, or your brother." Shock filled Darvix's expression as he looked to Nexus. "Yes, your thoughts have betrayed you boy. Now..give in." The Sith Lord emphasized his point by unleashing a final blast of lightning into the burnt up and dead Knight, then dragging the fallen Master from her fallen position, blood dripping from her mouth as her organs had mostly likely been crushed upon impact with the Sith's massive foot. "It's the only way you can save her."

Darvix looked to his Master, then to the Sith Lord. His Master, she shook her head solemnly, tears rolling from her eyes. "I'm sorry.." He whimpered, cursing himself eternally and raising his blade. Darvix allowed rage to fill him as he charged the Sith Lord, who did not release the Jedi, but he would after Darvix killed him. The boy allowed a vicious roar to escape his lungs as his blade connected with the Sith's who with little effort sent his blade hurdling to the side and Darvix onto the ground, Nexus pouted. Crushing the Master's lungs and letting her body drop to the ground, Darvix reached out in an attempt to get to her. "Noo!" He cried, before a torrent of lightning cursed his body. "You are weak." Nexus explained, placing his boot on the boy's face. Crushing his face into the ground, "But, I..I can make you strong. If only you'd become my apprentice, and you'll become powerful enough to never let this happen to anyone you love, ever again." Darvix whimpered silently, all the light had faded and Darkness was consuming his very being. Then, as his breathing slowed. He became silent, for a few moments. "Yes, my master." The words were like poison and he hated himself for it. He hated his Master for letting him down, and he hated the Sith Lord for being right. He would train him, he would become powerful..and then he would kill them. He'd kill every last Sith. Nexus relieved him and pulled him to his feet. "What of the younglings?" He asked, Nexus' eyes flickered to them. "They will come too, if you make them." Nexus stood aside, testing Darvix's loyalty. He looked to the younglings, "Come with us, you'll be safe." He offered, however they looked unpersuaded. "I promise. Please, come with us." It took a few moments for the younglings to fall in line, but they did and now, Nexus had an apprentice and a few younglings to throw to the wolves, so to speak. But, he was sure the spectacle did not go unnoticed, surely [member="Evard L'Rik"] and [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] would here or on their way. But again, they served no real purpose and for that. They were dismissed.

Evard L'Rik

Got Lightning Running Through my Veins
Oh, great.... Nexus had killed all the Jedi.

How was I supposed to try and convert the younglings? I walked over to them, seeing them quake in fear.

"I'm not here to hurt you. Your Jedi masters had darkness in their hearts. You saw the Force Scream, you saw him try to kill my friend there. You don't have to see anymore. I can bring you with me. On my ship, we can see the galaxy. Change history. You just have to join me."

Unconsciously mirroring the pose of a famous Dark Lord nearly 900 years ago, I held out my cybernetic arm.

"With me, you can express your feelings, love, laugh, have fun. We're not afraid of emotions like love, friendship, anger, or even happiness. You can explore whenever you want."

The first child, a girl of 5 or 6, pulled on my ponytail and giggled. And then they all started laughing. Even I had to smile.

But what scared me a little was the one kid who didn't. Whose eyes glowed red, and then went back to normal. I could see the hate in his eyes. Nexus had just killed somebody dear to him, probably. Maybe a brother, or, God forbid, a parent. In maybe fifteen years, he would probably be back for his blood. I walked over to the angry kid. He was crying. When he spoke, his voice echoed. Holy crap.

"The black man killed my family. My mom, my dad, even my big brother. You should all die!"

And he threw me backwards ten feet. Kark. Now Nexus would probably kill him, and I couldn't give him a reason not to. Because the kid had started glowing red again. His whole body. He screamed, and my Force Barrier took it. He leaped at me, some kind of sharp metal thing in his hand. He held up my hand, and he stopped in midair.

"No, kid. You won't resurrect your family by killing me. You won't kill me, period. If I didn't understand how you felt, you'd be dead right now."

His eyes went back to normal, and he dropped the shard.

"Help me, sir! There's something.... Inside... me. He's going to kill me if I don't kill you all."

I saw a squarish bulge in his pocket. A holocron. Probably of some crazy vengeful Jedi who'd been dead for a long, long time.

"Kid, throw the 'cron away!"

He threw it out of his pocket, and a figure appeared. An old, wizened Sith Pureblood. With the markings of.... An Emperor?

"BOW TO YOUR RIGHTFUL MASTER! BOW TO THE EMPERORRRRR!"

And with that, a bolt of lightning exploded from the cube, destroying my barrier and shorting out my right arm and left leg. I collapsed. And I heard the sound of a woman screaming. The cube was picking targets at random, not taking care to avoid the children, who were now scattering and trying to find protection against the Dark Holocron.

The woman looked familiar. She had joined the Sith in the projection of the holocron, and was screaming as the so-called Emperor shocked her.

"Observe, L'Rik, as I kill your love. I will hunt and kill your siblings, too. Until you succumb to my will and bow to me. Give me a new body. Or all you know will be destroyed."

And the cube exploded.

[member="Evard L'Rik"] would then find instead a new barrier protecting him as Alexandra moved to stand infront of him and let her aura grow to fill the area and soon it was a beacon of light. Her eyes stared at the cube as it exploded and soon she began imposing that aura on the attempted invader. "Get back you Sith Spawn." She let the aura of her stretch out, reaching around the fragment's own power and enclosing it as she began to then remove a shard from her own cloak. She had planned to use the shard for herself if ever came the need but this would work, her mind forcing the fragmented spirit towards the shard and into it as she stood there.

When it was done she collapsed to her knees and slowly breathed in and out compensating for the power lost in the transfer of the spirit as to allow her the chance to recover, that beacon of lightside still flaring bright as she sat there with a smile on her face as her head turned towards Evard. "You really are a moron kid."

I looked up at her. But I couldn't bring myself to smile.

"My fiancee.... He's torturing her. I've got to find her. I'll take these kids back to the temple. If I wasn't an apprentice myself, I'd teach two or three of these kids. Especially the one who got possessed. He's strong."

I looked at the boy, who was staring at me. He still looked a bit angry, but at least he wasn't glowing anymore. I looked at him.

"Ah, screw it. Kid, how would you like me to be your teacher?"

The kid looked at me, suspicious, and pointed at [member="Darth Nexus"].

"So that you can turn me into something like him? No thanks."

"You don't understand. That guy's not a normal Sith. He's kind of widely considered a huge dick. A powerful Sith, but a huge dick."

"Hes already dead and that was fake you moron." She slowly pushed herself up but soon fell back to her knees, the energy just not there as she had drained herself doing that one act. "Damnit, hey blond head, help me up... and dont get any funny ideas or i might just kill you instead for what ever was in the holocron." She looked at the kicked and smiled, she couldn't move but her aura was still stretched out beyond her body and she slowly drew back the white light it was and sealed it in her as she sat there.

"Hey, um sir.... What do a call you? Master? Teacher? Dumbass?"

I looked at the kid. He had had a mood swing from angry to laughing his ass off.

"You can call me 'Ultimate Badass' or 'Evard'. Never call me master.... It gives me combat flashbacks."

The kid offered his hand. To the arm that was shorted out.

"Kid, what do I call you? And also, that's the arm I can't use at the moment."

He thought about it for a bit, and, while pulling on my left arm, told me his name was Bex.

"Okay, Bex. you're gonna have to help me walk. My left leg and right arm are both prostheses. They were also both shorted out by that holocron. So, help me back to my ship and we can go."

Now that my right arm was around the kid's neck, I offered my left to [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. She got up. The kid looked at her.

"What're you gonna do with everybody else?"
