SETTING INFORMATION
Locations
External view of Ghurka-Carkai
Ghurka-Carkai was founded after travellers visited the lush world of Hyu-Ken Carka, wishing to remain on the planet. The Jedi worked closely with those living on the planet and set up the large buildings that would make up the city. The capital wasn't far from the Jedi Temple but there was enough distance that the people never felt like the Jedi were imposing on their space. Sadly, after the Gulag plague, there wasn't a great deal of people left in the city. With supplies running low as well, the Kenisin moved out of the capital and formed a small village near a river and lived off the land. There still remains a number of useful technology and weapons within the abandoned ruins of Ghurka-Carkai
A picture of Hjiar-Bharkai
Hjiar-Bharkai was the village created by the Kenisin who survived the Gulag Plague. The village flourished with the locals eating fish from the river and plants from the local flora. However, when the pirates took over the planet, the village became the main base of operations for them. With stores of spice and other illegal goods being kept in medium sized warehouses. The largest huts are also the homes of the main pirate rulers, with their slaves and expensive items decorating the interior.
Sharkai Falls
This is the Sharkai Falls, many Jedi came to meditate and relax when they were training on Hyu-Ken Carka. There is a pleasant peaceful atmosphere and one can feel at one with the nature of the planet.

- Primary Languages: Galactic Standard Basic
- Culture: During the Jedi controlled era, the planet was peaceful and based on a respect for the planet's hyper-growth of plant-life. The citizens who lived on the planet outside of the Temple followed a similar ideology as the Jedi, becoming peaceful amongst one another. There was little violence and most activity was exploring and expanding their knowledge of Wild Space. Currently, with pirate ruling the planet, slavery, spice trade and crime is rife in the main village, pirates also raid the large former capital city for goods and rare items. Knowledge of the planet is only shared amongst a shared number of pirates, this is due to the fact that it is close to SJO borders nowadays.
- Government: It is a Spice Haven world, ruled by pirates. Once a world under Jedi rule.
- Affiliation: N/A currently
- Wealth: Low, due to pirates taking the exported goods and sales from to themselves. This makes other people on the world poor and often forced to work in gangs or illegal activity to support family or survive.
- Stability: Low, with an oppressive force of pirates, the people living on the planet are embittered to their rulers. Pirates bring in slavery and illegal goods to later sell on, the planet is a great way for goods to be lost and later resold as most people do not know of it's existence. There is constant movement of trade goods and slaves been brought onto the planet.
- Freedom & Oppression: It is currently in oppressive rule, with twenty or so pirates in charge of the on goings with the planet.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
- Military: No real military. A band of pirates have amongst them, 15-20 ships that orbit the planet. Otherwise it is nonexistent as a military threat.
- Technology: Due to pirate influence and planet's nature wildness technology is below average with people living in huts. The pirates only bring in modern tech to then later sell on so very little of modern tech is around for native people.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Ghurkani Temple was established in the early years of the New Jedi Order, the Jedi Order created by Luke Skywalker. The Jedi in charge of the temple has been long forgotten, however, it is known that Luke set up the temple as it gave Jedi who wished to explore a chance to. It was set as a temple and outpost on the very edge of the galaxy. A safe haven during the exploration of Wild Space. However, when the Jedi Order fell during the Gulag plague, records of the temple were lost as the Jedi retreated into the core of the galaxy. Now the temple stands ruined by the wild forests of the planet and forgotten to the galaxy. This occurred during the Gulag plague, due to the high number of people dying, all Jedi were called into the Core Worlds. Abandoning their previous locations, this meant that Hyu-Ken Carka was only host to a few natives who ended up surviving the Gulag plague. After the 400 years of Darkness, there was still no word of the Jedi and all knowledge of their existence on the planet was lost to the hyperactive plant-life on the planet.
It wasn't till roughly 5 years ago that pirates crashed onto the planet. Discovering that this was a lost world and still inhabited with ruins and "loot", the pirates took control. The Kenisin longer had weapons so they quickly surrendered when the pirates killed their leader. Peaceful Kenisin then were taken as slaves, some sold off world. Pirates who crashed on the planet decided to keep it amongst themselves and use it as a pirate hub, losing authority such as SJO and others, then later on selling the goods they stole. Only people brought into the planet are slaves and pirates. The number of Kenisin has drastically dropped. The main village, Hjiar-Bharkai, is home to the ruling five pirates who originally discovered the planet. They only shared the location to fifteen men who later became their crew.
