Fill never considered himself to be lucky, and in truth, he still didn’t view himself as being lucky. Nor would he now. Life wasn’t done with him, so his suffering was far from over. Siting at the bar, ale in hand, he pondered his next big move as the Huttball preliminaries were playing on the holotube. While the rest of the bar seemed wrapped up in a close game, his eyes were currently seeking out something a bit more real, pretty, and responsive; and found it across the way.
She had a young face, and an energy that simply gave him the reading of ‘dangerous’. To some, this would be a red flag, for Fill is was looking more on the orange side. Independent woman with some bad girl energy scared a lot of guys off, which meant that might of been his ticket in. He wasn’t drunk enough to ignore the little voice telling him it was a bad idea, but he was disillusioned enough to believe that if the Bryn couldn’t kill him, some tough looking girl with daddy issues wouldn’t do it either.
Here he was again, gambling away. Knocking back some of his drink he rose, and plotted a course in the way of the woman. Accepting the fact that this very well could blow up in his face.
