Hello All, I am Kris.

I'm new here as you may know and I'm eager to very quickly dive in to the forums and try to meet as many people as possible! To that end, I want to trade a question for a question. Ask me a question then I will ask you! Simple!

I am also super eager to talk to people in real time using TeamSpeak or what have you.

I may come across as waayyyy too eager, but I LOVE STAR WARS AND ROLEPLAYING. And I would love to get to know the people I will be writing stories with!

SO PLEASE. Ask Me Anything!

Welcome to the Board! Feel free to ask as many questions as you want, and one of the old geezers veterans will definitely help you out. As for a question:

What is your political view on Porgs? Anti-Porg? Pro-Porg? The people need answers.

First of all, welcome to our little cabal of crazy. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Now, what is your favourite piece of Star Wars media? Be it film, series, video game, book, etc.

First off I love your avatar. You're already on the right track.

Question : What three television shows are you currently watching/streaming?

[member="Ghorua the Shark"] I believe the Porg are appropriating co-pilot jobs from working class humanoids. I can't help but think this is just the Space-Liberal agenda of the corrupt New Republic at work. #Empiredidnothingwrong

For you: What are your thoughts on the First Order? A Successor State to the Empire? Terrorists?

[member="Robogeber"] I have to say my favorite Star Wars Media are the games. the KOTOR series in particular. Currently I'm playing SWTOR right now and LOVING IT. I'm forever on a quest to find the best Jedi Robes in the Galaxy. But I prefer any instance where I can input my own spin on the universe. Anything that lets me say "this is my character and this is the impact he is making" helps me connect with the Universe and be able to appreciate anything that comes after. Like for instance, Would my KOTOR 2 Exile have stayed and fought Vader during Order 66? Yes, and would have died trying to stop him. FUN FACT: The name of my character, Rann Thress, actually comes from KOTOR 2's auto-name generator. Because I am incredibly unoriginal.

For you: Do you think there is a such thing as TOO much Star Wars? Should they keep it to the main series or do you want to see more spin-offs?

[member="Jay Scott Clark"] BOTH. More so WWII than BF1 because I'm a historical nut and i dislike the amount of automatic weapons in BF1. I love the return to form in WWII.

For you: What do YOU think about those two games? Is WWII a return to form or a cash grab? BF1 just trying to be the first to do WW1?

[member="Delila Castillon"] Thank you! My Avatar actually came from an insult a Teamspeak friend of mine said to me where I should call myself Faggathor. I found that image, loved it, and adopted it.

I'm currently watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Supernatural, and The Punisher. I'm trying to get into Doctor Who but I just can't for some reason.

For you: Now I'm going to cheat on this one and say Same Question?

Because I want more shows to watch. I've seen every episode of Supernatural three times over. Not my choice.

BF1 just wanted something different. I think it worked fine. CoD is just CoD. Nuff said. :D

Fair enough. Yeah CoD was nothing special. But they tried to be special with Infinite Warfare and fell flat. I think going back to the "no jetpacks" days works wonders for them.

[member="Delila Castillon"] Own that Riverdale! I'm not a fan personally, but I've only heard good things. South Park is always amazing to watch and I want to get into Rebels but my heart forever hurts from Clone Wars. As soon as It started getting good it ended.

[member="Mordillah"]

The ironic thing about good things is that they end as they are getting good. For shows might I suggest Stranger Things, Iron Fist and Penny Dreadful (alas this one ended as it was getting good as well).

Question: If you could pick 3 Jedi and 3 Sith from across time and space for the ultimate duel, who would pick and why?

3 Jedi: I have to go with Jedi Knight Revan for number one. The impact he had on the universe should speak for itself. Number 2 has to go to Obi-Wan Kenobi. He was our boots on the ground Jedi for the Prequel Trilogy and, for me, is the poster-child Jedi. Three goes to EU Luke Skywalker who is, if I recall correctly, widely regarded as the best Jedi in the history of the Galaxy.

The Three Sith are kind of cheaty. One is Darth Revan. Same reason as above. I know it's kind of a cop-out but I can't help but love Revan as a character. Two is Darth Sidious. The overwhelming power of Darth Sidious needs to be stated and his skills both with the force and a lightsaber make him an extremely dangerous adversary. Lastly needs to go to Vader. The OG Sith Lord for the films. Vader is the greatest "what-if" story in Star Wars for me. What if he did not lose at Mustafar? Would Vader be even more powerful?

But the presence of Vader alone makes him my top three.

For you: What constitutes a Sith Lord? Why Can't Kylo Ren simply call him self Darth Kylo or what ever? I have my own opinion about it, but I want to hear yours!

Most intriguing, while Revan is cool. I would have gone Nomi Sunrider, Mace Windu, amd Yoda for Jedi, them for Sith I would go with Darth Bane, Darh Vitiate and Exar Kun. I have soft spot for Vader but even he would be no match for those three,

Now to your question : To truly become a Sith Lord, the rule of Two indicates the apprentice must kill the Master. Not only is this act insurance that your forme master would not take a new apprentice to assassinate you, it was a ritual that marked ome as having completed your training and there is nothing further you could learn fom your former mentor. It was also a test of the Master to see if he or she able to train someone into who could be their equal and yet still defeat them if the need arose.

Whoever was stronger would prevail and weak eliminated. A large number of Sith who defeat their masters also take a mew name upon their rise to power, not just mere vanity, it was their baptism of fire and they survived, reborn and far stronger than they have ever been. And that my friend is my concept of what makes a Sith Lord.
