I am looking for an Elven Sword to craft, anyone want to help?

I am going to use Lanax Grayson to create Hakora true Eldorai armor and sword.

Right now I am looking for pictures of amazingly beautiful Elven sword to use as the template. I am wanting a slight curved blade hat can be wielded one handed and two. I want it to look beautiful and like it is made from strong, rare metals.

Not quite what I am looking for. While my sword and armor will be lightsaber resistant, the sword will take advantage of a great weakness in most people's armor. Most armor is resistant to lightsabers and fire arms, but not melee weapons because no one really uses them. I will make a sword made from a mix of Mandalorian Iron, Songsteel and other metals. These are what I am looking for:

Sword:

Well, OK, but armour which resists lightsabres, unless it's very thin, is proof against melee weapons too. Beskar might be able to hold an edge, but it can't magically cut through things.

That is why I am researching the crap out of this. I have found the use of Vibrocells to be a possible addition:

Also while Beskar is not magic, how do you make it stronger? Mixing and folding. Much like Damascus steel, folding and heating metal over and over and over makes it stronger. This will be a long project and require many Dev Threads, but given the time, research and energy I believe I can craft a sword that will be a masterpiece just like elven swords are known as masterpieces in Lord of the Rings and other writings. Needless to say, there will be weaknesses to counter this. I do not want to make a sword so powerful that no one would RP with Hakora. Just a sword worthy of being called an Eldorai sword.

Thank you, My Lord!

Multiple submissions. acquiring those two metals will have dev threads each. The combining and creation of the new metal will be multiple threads like developing the recipe with trail and error and then the actual making. Needless to say this will be at least four decv threads or more.

That is such a waste of beskar and songsteel.

Songsteel is light, lightsaber resistant, blaster resistant, durable, etc.

Beskar is heavy, lightsaber resistant, blaster resistant, durable, etc.

It makes no sense to try to combine the two when they do the same thing, outside of adding a "special snowflake" sticker to the resulting submission. I don't see the logic in attempting to mix them, and as Mrs. Kuhn stated you can't have two restricted items in a single submission anyway.

You would be better off with one. And I suggest Songsteel based on how light it is. But that's just me.

[member="Hakora Feanor"] Vibro-blades are already lightsaber resistant because they vibrate at such a high frequency. And you can quite literally make them.look like anything you like as long as it's fluff. If I were to make a blade I would do Cortosis then it would just be a blade and it would short out lightsabers

Hmmm you make a really good point sir.

Lightsaber resistance isn't the goal, armor cutting is. Most armor is made to protect against lightsabers and blaster fire, not physical damage. While most armor has protection against physical it is lower than against lightsaber. So this sword would do slash and blunt damage.

Have Lanax build it then convince a Sith or Jedi to imbue it with force afterwards then post both threads as dev threads for the sub. When in doubt add more dev threads.
