I believe in a Forward Motion (Open)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
She had well she had set up this room within the training area. Hardlight and stone, shock blades and things to keep safe but also make it so you learned touching blades is bad. SHe hadn't gotten hurt as the jedi master stood in the sarashi styled tunic. Formed to her small body, bare shoulders and covering her stomach. Form fitted pants that were made to reduce anything that might hang loose with her thigh pack and equipment. She could move diving into the waters as the chill went through her body.

She has set up the tunnel itself, submerged it with water and it was long enough if you were careful you could get through with a single breath on the average. She knew there was a difference in lung capacity so factoring that in some might be able to hold their breath longer and others would need the shorter path. To protect them there were training jedi stationed in there with emergency oxygen supplies and spaced out that at least three could reach most areas. The obstacle course itself was set up under the water and the temperature, the tunnel, the twists and turns made it a challenge to get through.

THen it went into a large pool designed to disorient but not harm you. Anti grav generators in the areas that were sudden drops after a time but there was a path down. Running and moving onto the rocks, the stone hand holds to get down and use the force for drops or leaps. It get down deeper into a section filled with debris and some of the stun blades that would serve to challenge them and make them move quickly in the traps as well as heal themselves. Getting through it the walkways were littered with blade traps and jets of air. The flames less intense but they added a sort of effect to see what was happening.

She was moving through it to test it but also get some time and loosen up if she was going to teach as the walkway led into another larger chamber. A spinning platform with blades and poles to smash into you. Padded yes but it was made to be a challenge as you moved up and you needed to be able to either move fast up the different spinning sides or there was the walkways on the side you could use to try and lower the platform where something was being kept within a case. THe jedi master looked at it and the other droids who were functioning to make the room look ten times more dangerous then it actually was.

"Everything is ready master Ike." She got a grin from one of the Jadeite jedi who had worked on the challenge room, to teach several skills that the jedi would be able to use and Matsu spoke. "Wonderful, then send out the announcement that there is a training course and we can make it something fun for the others to see and try hopefully."

Potentas was meditating in his quarters, relaxing and expanding his force abilities levitating several objects around his sitting position in the centre of the room. His lightsabers, a training manual a cortex hardrive device were circling around him. Potentas himself was levitating cross legged. As Potentas concentrated his breathing a candle in the room incensed and flickered to near darkness. As he did so Potentas repeated his mantra in his head. Control your breath, control your emotions, relax your thoughts, your will controls the force. Potentas relaxed and slowly sank to the ground, the objects floating around him, gently fell to the floor.

Potentas was just opening his eyes when he overheard the announcement for an obstacle course training exercise. Potentas considered not going for a moment then berated himself mentally. He was never going to approve by just reading manuals, he needed to train he was getting restless, he needed to do something active, stretch his muscles and his skills. This could be the perfect opportunity to do so.

Potentas made his way through the corridors, wondering what challenges their would be in the exercise. When he arrived Potentas scanned the course in front of him. The course was designed to test a persons agility, Potentas noticed padded poles and spikes, to provide barriers to overcome. The droids in the room added to the dangerous decor, but Potentas dismissed them as not providing any dangers.

While he had been studying the course, Potentas noticed Master Matsu Ike standing by proudly her creation. “Master Ike, the course does you credit, thank you for the opportunity to test our skill, to better ourselves.” Potentas said as he bowed formally. “I look forward to the challenge”.

When Reggie heard the announcement he was taking a stroll enjoying the day, something that he enjoyed doing on the planet. Since he wasn't particularly doing anything at the moment and found this as an opportunity to improve his skills, Reggie began walking to the location.

When he arrived and saw what the obstacle course consisted of, he became a bit nervous. In reality, it wasn't anything to be nervous about, but there was always doubt in Reggie's mind about his skills. Reggie was quite inexperienced, especially in comparison to the other Padawan's. It was no one's fault but his own of course, which is why he's trying to get involved in more activities. Whether it be an obstacle course like this for training, or out on a mission where he may be needed. Analyzing the course more closely, the Padawan began to calm his mind down, knowing that testing where his skills were at was exactly why he had come here.

After awhile, Reggie realized that he hasn't greeted the Jedi Master yet. Turning towards [member="Matsu Ike"] and hoping that she didn't notice his previous nervousness over the course, he bowed.

"Hello Master Ike!"

Reggie also noticed another Padawan there that he did not know. He waved at [member="Potentas"] in greeting, having the same smile and enthusiasm that he usually does when talking with others.

"Welcome." She was looking at the two of them and leading the way back to the beginning of the course. A platform higher up but able to let them check out some parts of it. "Now this isn't the standard, normally the jedi courses are just rooms or areas with training droids but I wanted to try and test and teach you some of the other skills a jedi can use and will need in the field." She said it and moved a hand to a small supply pack,.

"In a standard utility belt you'll have a rebreather, essential if you are at risk of drowning and able to last for quite awhile without replacing parts. USe it first if you can but in the cases when you don't have it or need to give it to someone else. Breath control and the ability to keep air in your lungs for hours sometimes days can be essential." She clapped it though and set it aside. "Now the course egins here and goes through the tunnels, they have debris and hazards but there are droids and safety systems in place."

She looked at them. "While testing yourself is important, I can't let you drown to teach you but if you get injured then we will be able to practice healing techniques." SHe was moving towards the water though and looked at the two of them. "Now make sure you have nothing loose hanging that can get caught or snagged, only the essentials to move around with and whatever will be comfortable." She was moving to get them near by. "We'll start with breath control when you are ready."

Reggie followed and listened to the master intently, taking in more of the course while doing so. When Breath Control was mentioned, he remembered that it was something he wanted to learn before. It was an ability that was very useful when diving, and like the Master said, a person won't always have the proper equipment to get through a situation.

Reggie usually wore comfortable clothing that weren't loose, and usually didn't take anything with him that would weigh him down, so he was mostly ready. One thing he decided would be best left behind for this course was his headband and possibly his lightsaber. He took the two items off his person, set them down, and moved towards Master Ike to begin.

Drystan stood alongside [member="Matsu Ike"], listening to her explain the course and following along. The Sentinel had said very little, as was her custom - content to simply watch & evaluate.

She was excited to see [member="Reggie Faayare"] and [member="Potentas"], each growing in their own ways, step up to attempt the obstacle course the Jedi Master had prepared. Perhaps, when they were finished, she'd give it a try herself.

Joury stood there, nervously watching the Master and focused on every word spoken. She remembered back to her mother and learning to meditate back on Dagata.

"Clear your mind. Eliminate the noise from your ears, and wipe away the distractions from your eyes. Just on what is in front of you, only that....only that"

The Witch's lessons replayed in Joury's head as she calmed herself, taking soft, slow, deliberate breaths and each time inviting more air to fill her lungs. The cybernetics made this easier, and her capacity was nothing short of impressive already, but not hours. Only Jedi could do that.

Joury's tunic was loosely tied, and the leggings she wore were well broken in, providing snug but ample comfort, not restricting her movements in any way.

Moments passed, Joury focused herself. Slowly tensing, holding, then releasing every muscle in her body, beginning with the crown of head and steadily descending to the soles of her bare feet. She invited Kashyyyk's energies to flow up, to fill her with the Light, and felt herself connected and rooted into the planet beneath her.

"Just like a tree," her mother had said, "Learn to be just like a tree, daughter. Let your feet and legs become as roots, your spine a mighty trunk, you hair the leaves, your arms the branches. Be one with your environment."

"Be one with your environment" Those words kept ringing in her mind, every day since Vi left and she found herself here on this strange world, amid stanger people, doing the strangest things. "Be one with the environment" Joury smiled, thinking to herself than be just as strange as they are. What I see them do, I will do just as they. "Be one with your environment"

With that Joury began to mimic the Master's breathing, to follow her rhythms and rubrics to the cue. That was how she became a dancer. She watched the Twi'lek girl that every one of the customers was throwing credits and mimicked her moves, mannerisms, even her smile. Soon Joury was the one getting all the credits. Same principle here, and so far, I haven't had to take my clothes off.
