Living In Color
Iris knew of exactly one Jedi Shadow. Her own Master. Former Shadow, at that, but still. The whole secret Jedi spies wasn't something Iris had put much thought in. Valery Noble had left that life behind long before Iris learned how to cut through the haze of colors around her and see more, and the conversation never came up. And yet, now as a Knight, it was something that caught her attention. Not because she wanted to be a Shadow, rather, she didn't like the idea of them. On paper they seemed like a secret hit squad, assassins sent to kill where a Jedi should never kill.
They were the least Jedi Jedi she'd ever heard of.
But rather ask Valery what their purpose was, why not ask a different Shadow? Someone she didn't know, someone she didn't idolize. All so she could get a proper idea without her own bias's coming into play. Hopefully. So here she was, waiting for this shadow to show up. Unless they were already there and watching in the shadows. That wasn't something they'd do, right?
