I think some people see creativity in a star wars setting as not roleplaying a Sith as a Sith. That's my understanding on why nobody wants to be an evil Sith anyway.

It is foolishness, someone wise on a RP told me a sith is not an anti hero that just makes bad choices and has an addiction to lightning. A sith is more than power, sure power is usually the driving force, but there is more to it, the dark side makes them feel alive. For Darth Ares war makes him feel alive like a Spartan hence his name.
