Description: The Pipistrelle was designed to be Elite Starfighter, capable of taking other interceptors on and fighters. Though due to size and complexity of the ship, sacrifice had to be made, like the hyperdrive, so it need a lift home and to battle Also due to how complicated it was to keep it ready, the squadron count was lowered to eight rather than twelve. They had two torpedo ports, that could be armed with any torpedo, though proton torpedoes where the prefered option. They also had a hard point, designed to hold one bomb. This was useful if doing ground attack, or hitting a capital ship. The ship was well armoured, so could take a couple of hits, even if the shields failed, and good defence against incoming torpedoes.
 
[member="Darth Banshee"], this looks fine from a basic balancing perspective.

If this is going to remain as semi-unique (with 8 ships total), you could put a cloaking device on this.

If the intent is to make more than a single squadron of these ships, the production field should be changed from semi-unique.
