DESCRIPTION
The Royal Guard Armour was designed to give a good degree of protection to the wearer, so they could fight without much cover, against conventional forces. This also was designed to give the look of regal security, and thus not to be questioned. The armour it self had a small power pack, this helped power the deflector shield and wrist blaster. The shield meant they could stand their ground, if caught out in open in the corridors, and if shot at from the distance, but would do little against a lightsaber, or slug thrower. The wrist blaster was a short range weapon, designed to be used if they came disarmed, as it was good for little else. Due to electronics in armour, it was more prone than normal armour to ion or emp, but if hit this would only knock out electronic items on the armour. Like the comms, H.U.D. deflector shield, and wrist blaster, but due to not requiring these for movement, it would not stop soldier fighting, though with reduced effecientcy.


Strengths:

Weaknesses:
  • Heavy and difficult to move around in.
  • Vulnerable at the Joints
  • Emp can knock out the electronic equipment in the armour.

Needs one or two more good weaknesses to balance out, and I think we should be good to go. Maybe something about the kinetic impact of slugs still being able to damage the user via energy transfer or reduce the Ion/EMP effectiveness. Up to you how you want to do it.
