[Darth Banshee]

Darth Banshee was at one of her mine's on Aeten II, she just had a report that they had found a major deposits of stygium crystals, a lot more than she needed. She took som her freighters to Aeten II, they where loaded with droids and slaves, to help mine the crystals. As her ship took off from Serenno, she smiled this was going to be highly profitable venture, and soon she saw ship making lines. As her ship came out of hyperspace, it began it's descent to the ground, as it landed the ship freighter doors opened with a hiss. The droids and salve began moving off the ship. There where two types of droids, a mining droids which took it out ground, and her loading droids brought it back up to the planet surface. The slave's job was to help between the two, and clean the crystals ready for market.

She had to figure what to do with the excess crystals, as computer analysis said she found nearly three times the amount she needed, for her stealth interceptors. As the first loads began to come out, she decide she would hold an auction for the others.

She went to her data terminal, and then put in two lots to auctioned on. As she wanted keep one lot for herself, so she could build stealth interceptors for her personal carrier. As the lot's went in, she leaned back and waited to see what offers she get for the other two lots.


Lot A: One Freighter load of stygium crystals
Lot B: One Freighter load of stygium crystals

She was only interested in credits, as she wanted to also use that to help expand her company. As she had access to ships, and wanted to expanded her dockyards on Serenno, so she could make even bigger ships, and for that she needed money, not other peoples ships.

Allana Badeadux, the Grand Duchess of the Hapes Consortium. Within her own private quarters… she was also sitting down at a computer console. It was not an unusual sight as the young woman had many responsibilities that involved the weight of the entre Consortium resting on her very young shoulders. One of those responsibilities was keeping the Royal Hapen Military supplied.

Stygium crystals were not common and they were very useful. Well they were very useful for naval ships. Just one freighter full could give the Hapes Consortium a useful advantage.

Allana had no idea how much one of these ships was actually worth. No one had made a bid just yet. So Allna started to move those lithe fingers. She typed out…

She hopped the bids she just made was a reasonable comparable sum, close to the equivalent to the sum it was worth. A common average small freighter could be worth 24,000 credits. So she just made a bid that was the equivalent amount that was the worth of four small freighters.

Waiting, watching to see if anyone else would make a bid…

Kyle most certainly interested in buying some Stygium Crystals. He certainly needed them for his new project. A stealth fighter force.
He placed the bids. He didn't have heaps of money, so he hoped he had enough cash for it. He would buy one freighter load. It should be enough.
Bid on Lot A: 200,000 Galactic Standard Credits

 

[Kurayami Bloodborn]

Stealth was a feature Kurayami hadn't played around with nearly as much as he wanted to, might be nice to get a craft that was built for such a purpose. After thinking for sometime he sent a bid for the second lot offered.

Bid on Lot B: 275,000 credits

Stygium..., High Queen Antalas thought. Useful, prehaps some stealthy droid starfighters could be made.
The queen makes a bid of 450,000 on the first lot. Quite the sum, but the investment would be a good one.
Still, it was risky. She began to calculate the highest bid she could make. Soon she'd have to drop out.

 

[Allana Badeaux]

The Grand Duchess watched eagerly when the first bid after her bid. It was by the user name [member="Kyle Raymus"]. Allana had never seen the name before on the holonet. It came to no surprise as there were many names on the holonet she had never seen before. What was shocking was his bid. The possible future Queen Mother of the Hapes Consortium was trying to logically think why the person made a bid how he did. The man put a bid on Lot A but raised it up by 100,000 galactic credits. It was double her bid, a pretty drastic jump. He could have made a bid one credit chip higher.

Then another bid came in. The user name of the person bidding was a [member="Kurayami Bloodborn"] . This was another name Allana had never seen on the holonet. This person made a bid on Lot B for 275,000 galactic credits. It was 175,000 credits higher then what she placed a bid on Lot B. This confused Allana also. The only other bid he was competing with was her bid for 100,000 galactic credits. This person could have made a bid of 100,001 credits and would have had a higher bid then her.
Then the next bid was even more confusing. This bid was made by the user name of @Vokun. This person placed two bids. 400,000 galactic credits on Lot A and another 400,000 credits on Lot B. So this person made a bid 200,000 credits more than the current bid of 200,000 credits on Lot A. Then the other bid on Lot B was 125,000 credits higher than the current bid on Lot B. Allana was still confused but maybe with more bids coming in maybe she will start to understand better?

The next bid was from the user name [member="Queen Antalas"] . This person made a bid on Lot A for a total of 450,000 galactic credits. Well this time it was not a jump of 100,000 or 200,000 credits.

Well in order for Allana to stay in this game she would have to make another bid. She unlike the others did not wish to rise to the bid to high too quickly. If everyone was betting to quickly off emotions then the bid could get ridiculously high. Well Allana could afford a ridiculous sum. That did not mean she wished to pay for a shipment of some crystals way higher than the cost of mining the material herself. Well better words would be hiring someone to mine the material for her. So Allana began to type again to [member="Darth Banshee"].

After making the bet Allana started researching some additional information. Where Allana started to look was in the Royal Hapen data base. She was hoping to start to find a edge in this bidding war.

Hm.. Intresting. A cheap play, but an inteligant one. However, it could fall back on her if it continues going up in ones.
High Queen Antalas would have to think carefully. Get her to spend to much, without spending too much herself.

The message sent from the same encrypted source, and the others would be unable to know whom was using the com to send those either as it was a cantina public com. Yet still the doorways threaded through to reach the servers for the auction, well it would even take a massively talented slicer to even just gather where they were coming from let alone who was doing what.

But just as he was encrypting, he was not slicing. Hence he had no way to know that one of the people he worked against also worked to better the Metal Lords.

The queen looked at the screen, disappointed. Her ploy had failed, someone had bided on both. Still, 1,000,000 credits was a lot, and the lot was looking more vital to her plans.
She selected lot A and types 550,000.

Darth Banshee was watching the auction with excitement, so far she had broke the million mark. This would help her expand her shipyards she wanted on Serenno, and hopefully help make star destroyers. She would be soon be able to build her own stealth fighter squadrons, as the first lot ore had been mined from the ground. She looked at bids, and sent a message.

Lot A: [member="Queen Antalas"] is so far winning with five hundred and fifty thousand credits.
Lot B: [member="Vokun"] Is in the lead half a million credits

After that she checked the bidding on the mining operation, she walked down into the mine shaft, and soon reached the first cavern. The cavern was quite shiny, even with the dirt. The loading droids where still bring up the slag, and other debris from mining operation. She watched them being loaded up by the slaves, they where suited to the task. This was because they hands and could work together much easier. The crystals, themselves where beginning to be hauled up. Though this would take time, as they need the debris clearing first. So when the crystals are taken out they are less likely to be damaged, due to some foreign objects.

The mining droids then started to cut the crystals out, using their lasers. They where very careful about this, and as they began to be cut out. The slaves would pick them up, and quickly put them on a loading droids to be taken to service. She saw some sort of sensor in the cavern, she asked one of slave masters what it was for. It was apparently in case their was a co level build up, so they could evacuate the slaves and themselves. It was good to know, apparently the danger came from the mining lasers, as they use oxygen up, as they cut the crystals out. So this meant the oxygen was lower down here, than on the surface. Though they did have what was called a vent shaft, so the stale air could make it to the surface, and fresh would be dragged in. She left the mine happily on knowledge the vain of stygium crystals, had been tapped, and she would be able to sell what she had promised in the auction.

The vein of stygium was still being mined, but now the crystals was coming up, as well as the slag heap. The slag head was being scoured by slaves, to see if anything of use ws in it. As sometimes their would be the odd crystal in it, then again the hardened rock itself could be used as a resource. So they looked for anything that could be reused on other projects, the job was dangerous as they could easily slip, and fall and injure themself or die, fortunately slaves where cheap. The crystals that where being brought to the surface, where being brought up done by the loading droids, they took them into a warehouse. There the slaves began to polishing them, so they be of use and could be properly weighed. Then carefully put into crates, so not to be damaged in transit. This way all of the equine freighters, could be load up with same amount of stygium crystals.
The freighters where loaded, and she watched with glee as the bids came in. She smiled it was enough to begin the work, on expanding the shipyards. She still needed to find more money from elsewhere, but this was a start. She had just got over a million credits for the sale, the crystals would be useful for her as well, as third lot was for her. She then typed on her computer, a message to both winners of auction.

She sent a duplicate message, to the other winner in the auction.

She then saw another person bid, it was quite close, and she would mining again soon, so she sent her a message anyway.

Whilst your bid was unsuccessful, I still have a working mine on Aeten II.
So if you wish to purchase some crystals in the future, when next vain is tapped.
I will be more than happy to make you my first choice of call for selling them.
