I worry where this is going...

Relevant passage quoted below:

Ryan Korr said:
"To that end, I affirm the previous decision rendered by Grandmaster Grayson on Matsu Ike. For the sinking of Ahto City, the theft of Jedi holocrons, and the complete lack of remorse, Matsu Ike is banished from all Jedi Order holdings for life, else face arrest and imprisonment.

"The Silver Jedi may have forgotten the horrors wrought by her hands. We do not.

Ryan Korr is now the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order minor faction, which I've also been part of and participating in. That thread is his announcement to the galactic Jedi assembly, and my concern is that it appears on a story level to be setting the stage for a Jedi vs Silver Jedi conflict.

Or do I read too much into it?

I would not worry about this too much. Although civil war seems to be the flavour of the month, but I have no intentions of getting us involved in that..

If that is what he wants, JO have made a very bad decision. He will look bad not us.

I was going to propose that SSC have a civil war after Sio goes ballistic for...totally logical reasons, and tries to assume direct control.

But then I discovered civil wars are mainstream, so I dropped the idea. :p

Regardless, how SSC governs itself and chooses its members is its own business. Speaking as someone whose char would actually agree with Ryan in this matter in theory...but be resolutely against TJO or its GM having any say in how SSC does things.

I wouldn't read too much into it at this stage, though.

The thread has pretty much turned talks about the SSC. Why I don't know. Considering their 'mess' they are in. Would have thought they would clean up their own back yard before poking into other peoples.

Mind set of the a few?

I'd definitely avoid a Civil War arc. I'm not always enjoying being part of the Mandalorian one. And the Primeval one imploded that faction.

Ryan has said publically that he's attempting to merge the TJO with the GA's New Jedi Order. But they're far enough away on the map that it should be a non-issue. Still, it pretty much un-does anything accomplished by the Jedi Conclave if going forward its NJO and the GA vs. the SJO and SSC.

So much for the recent chatter trying to rekindle the unity flame. :/

Oh, and Coci, because I've left the TJO, I asked them to re-assign Lilli to a new master (unless you want to swap over to JAN).

I pulled Lilli out of JO.

Not sure what to do with her now.. but that is ok.

Also the SJO are bad, cause they left stuff, is old now. Since SJO was formed over a year ago now. This equates to something like 20 to 30 years ICly. All this talk in there tells me is that Ryan is bereft of ideas.

*shrugs*

Agreed. I was trying to be funny. Sio's enjoying her semi-retirement too much. Tension is good, but it should be developed ICly.

* nod * Yeah, merging for them makes sense since TJO is now residing in GA territory.

As for Jedi unity, well, truth be told I've always been cynical about it. Maybe it's partially because my perspective is that of an outsider. But I'm like 'is it really needed?' Different Jedi groups cater to different players. That's better than a monopoly.

Yes, the old Jedi were unified and answered only to one council. The Republic was also the dominant power and they served it (and fought Mandos/Sith if they arose). It was a very different galaxy.

[member="Sor-Jan Xantha"] - Korr has a long memory but he's also very practical. So he won't push against the SSC in any way. He'll just remind them constantly that he takes issues with their methods and their membership and the, blah blah blah. Ya know. The usual.

I won't worry about the TJO until after their negotiations with the NJO for a merger end. Even then, Starchaser does a pretty good job of pointing his people at the Sith war machine anyway. I'd just throw this in with dogs barking and cats meowing. It doesn't mean anything. :p

My guess right now is that he only reaffirmed Kiskla's judgment on Matsu so it didn't look like he was singling out Hadrix and Vulps. I wouldn't read anything into it beyond that.

What he said. After all, the speech consisted of a long list of atrocities committed by the Republic or blamed on its agents. Some of stretching very far back.
