STRENGTHS
- Battle Precognition - Being forged in Solus Nau'ur Kad this one of a kind blade was imbued with the ability to feel moments into the future. It has been described as a voice that whispered always of the future while warding them in the present. Allowing them to react without thought.
- Beskar - Being made of Beskar it has extreme resistance against lightsabers and energy type weapons.
- Battle Precognition - In order to receive the benefits of the blade's ability it must be wielded in the user's hand which is signified by the fiery glow around the blade. The ability only perceives the current conflict the wielder is in.
- Force Nulifcation/Suppression - There are some things in the galaxy that turn this blade into just a regular blade. One such thing would be a Ysalimr that negates the force in an area. Anything that blocks the force will stop the Battle Precognition from working.
The Ianus Kopis is a commissioned blade requested from the Information broker Dedata. However to secure the commission she used an alias as a mandalorian broker. She has been known to pass Clan Solus information as well as set up important meetings. Rather than requesting credits for the latest information she asked for two weapons to be made. A Kopis and the Sparti short spear. However there was a catch, both items needed to be more than what they seemed and to aid her in battle as she admitted having bad fighting skills. Though it was a tall request the head of the forge took it on personally.
The kopis has a rather elegant look. The pommel and guard are made from beskar with inlayed aurodium as well as the durite hilt. The blade itself also follows the swirling pattern with an engraving which seems a fiery glow from as well as along the sharpened part of the blade when held. This was a good sign that the forge had bestowed power connected with Cynthia's thoughts, of being able to judge an opponent's action moments into the future. At the end of the process of this blade Cynthia was almost sad to know that it would be going to the client.
