Strengths:
-The armor is very protective against blaster fire and lightsabers, and quite resistant to cold and heat.
-By giving more mass to Ice, the armor provides more strength to him when he charges.
Weaknesses:
-The insulator suit protects the user against electrical and ion energy to a degree, but applying continuous damage of the sort will eventually pass the defences.
-A well aimed and strong kinetic attack will be able to crack the armor.
DESCRIPTION
Nima found Ice, alongside his siblings after their mother was brutally wounded by a bear attack. The cubs, still very young, were quite weak. From the first glance, it could be seen that there was something not natural about them. They had weird wound marks all over their body, they were bigger in size but extremely thin. Without their mother’s care, all of the cubs but Ice couldn’t survive. Nima adopted the young cub and took care of him. Even though Nima was quite protective when it came to the wolf, she also knew that he had his needs and instincts, he wasn’t a dog after all but a predator. Nima brought him to hunting and let him be free as much as possible. It caused him to become rebellious, yet he grew up to reach the size of a horse and became stronger and healthier, and the connection between them strengthened over time.
After the Contingency’s plans were foiled and they managed to defeat Onyx, Nima acquired a good amount of Orichalcum. Upon further inspection and carefully considering its strengths and weaknesses, Nima decided to make an armor out of it with the help of Firemane. The metal was quite heavy and wasn’t suitable for her fighting style, so it would be for her wolf companion. Besides, no matter how she tried to protect him, the galaxy was becoming more dangerous as time passed.
Even though the metal was quite resistant to temperature and plasma based attacks, it was quite conductive. So, Nima added an insulator suit to the armor’s design to add a layer of protection against electrical attacks. The suit’s generator created an insulation field to protect the wolf from electrical and ion energy. Of course, it had its limits and only protected to a degree.
