After their return from the abandoned Sith Temple within the Cloak of the Sith, Valery had left the flying to Aldric and taken some rest during their flight back to Coruscant. It had been a rough ride, as her system worked hard to flush the chemicals from her body with help from the Force — she had gotten cold, and pale and to someone who couldn't feel her life force, it almost looked like she was dying. It made her wonder just how nerve-wracking the flight back must have been for Aldric, but she had done her best to make it clear she'd be alright. Still, though, they had gotten beaten around and shot too much to just sleep it off.
So even though she really looked forward to bringing him to their home to help him get settled in, their first stop was a medical facility somewhere within the district Valery lived in. It was close to the Temple and frequently assisted Jedi when their own healers were not available at the Temple. Aldric and Valery were separated there as well, which only made the Keshian a little more stubborn and cranky. She wanted him by her side but ultimately understood that he needed some treatment as well.
The Force Lightning had likely burned his skin badly. Luckily, it's something that was healed up easily enough.
"Alright, Master Noble, you're free to leave but please do take your rest," the nurse requested, knowing how difficult Valery could be from reading her file.
"Hmm?" Valery blinked — she had been daydreaming about going home. "Oh right, yeah sure," she said with a tone that didn't satisfy the nurse at all. So right as Valery stepped out of the room and looked for Aldric in the waiting room, the nurse moved passed Valery to intercept Aldric before he'd be able to meet up with Valery.
"Mr. Laurent, yes?" she asked politely before glancing over her shoulder at Valery, who hadn't spotted them yet, "It's good to see that you've recovered but if you can do medical staff here a favor... make sure she gets her rest? She has a history of being... stubborn."
