SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
Can charge many droids at once while they are on the move performing their duties.
Isn’t harmful to organic life.
Is resistant to electronic magnetic pulses
Weaknesses:
It is limited to Towns, cities and ships over 1000m due to the power required to keep the IDCN operational.
Has a range of 25m meaning the droid/device cannot go beyond the spherical range of it.
Bigger the demand, the more power required.
DESCRIPTION
The Inductive droid charging network or IDCN was developed so places could use droids more efficiently. The network is capable of keeping many droids at full power while they are on the network so they will never lose power. While the technology was made for civilian use it also has advantages for most military. If used in a city or town droids can be active all the time. Meaning any gaps in defences would be minimized. Not only that but when used on a war vessel during a long siege or skirmish the droids would be able to perform duties without worry of them needing a charge.
While war isn't the technology's purpose it is useful for quick expanding cities and towns. Construction can be done around the clock and even services like medical care, child care, repair docks, spaceports and much more. IDCN can also charge other devices that has compatible batteries. Although the devices must be within 25m of the closest coil otherwise it will no longer gain the benefits.
