Idea for a Base

Got an idea for a secret base.
We could use a Haven-class medical station in orbit around the abandoned planet Drongar.
The planet if u didn't know produced bota, a valuable medical substance used during the clone wars. Tha planet after mutation became useless.
We can say that after 800 years of mutation it became useful again. Plus according to books and other sources there's many abandoned clone and droid based on the planet as well as harvesting equipment.
I know it's a stretch but if we could consider it we wouldn't need to buy or barter medical supplies.
Only problem is that the planet is on the outer rim of the silver Jedi controlled space and outside of anyone else's reach. So it's a good RP base to have as well.
Just something to consider I guess.

Hmm... It's certainly a good idea, only thing is we'll need to get subs in for the station and whatnot.

Another problem is that the planet Drongar is in Republic space. As a group of healers, we are a neutral faction -- meaning I don't really want us to be located on a planet that's already controlled by a faction. I'm mostly looking for a planet which no one controls whatsoever.

So basically, keep the station and whatnot, just change the planet

I'll throw my two creds in and propose Monastery. If you look at the galactic map you'll see it's located Mid-Rim in unclaimed space between the Republic, the Albrion Systems Authority, and the Omega Protectorate, and was dedicated to a neutral order of monks that respect all life.

Oooh I like this idea. We could definitely make it work.

This is also possible. Found a vag mention of a Heaven-Class Medical Spacestation within 30,000 Pc of the planet outside Naboo with a complement of 6 Pelta-class frigate and has the capacity of 60,000 patients. Can make a thread to search for this station and its Clone Wars era medical supplies.

Not a solid theory but could work, also working to see if bota can be put back up as useful medical supplies for future threads and easy meds then buying bacta from the Protectors.

Alright, here's what I've decided:

The headquarters will be a Haven-class medical station left over from the Clone Wars, situated in the Qeimet system (which, from what I can tell, is right below the Albrion Systems Authority territory, in neutral space). The stations didn't depend on planets, which is good -- it means we don't need a specific planet to be attached to. And, if we really need to be specific, we can say it drifted (as stations are wont to do) into the Arkasis sector, where the planet Relovian is. However, it won't actually be in orbit around Relovian -- that's just the nearest reference planet.

The only problem with the Outer Rim is justifying trips to the other side of the map, like Mandalorian Space or the Tingle Arm. I know it's fiction and we get there when we say we get there, but if I can make one more plug for Monastery, it's central. Just my two cents; I'm happy to be wherever you put us!

If we can get a faction thread done, we can capture an abandoned Haven-Class Medical Station for the Qeimen system, we can also add as few or many old medical supplies as we can use to start off, and possible gain a few Pelta-class frigate that usually accompanied these stations.

Use my ship and the crew of the Security Division (after approved) to fly the other medical ships to monetary. After that sign a contract with leaders of mayor cations saying Monestary is a neutral planet.

We can change the location of the space station as they are prone to be moved.

That's actually not a bad idea, and not completely impossible, either. When the time comes I'm going to see if this is doable.

And if Jaster's plan is allowed, then our headquarters will be in orbit around the planet Monastery. Then, once that gets approved, we may also be able to start putting establishments down planetside.

Now that that's out of the way, I will be locking this thread but not deleting it, in case we need to figure out another place again. Kudos to both of you for helping ^_^
