"There's a place I think you'll like. It's called Merrin's Wares—a store packed with all sorts of curiosities and toys. It's not too far from here, and it has a certain... charm."
As they walked through the bustling streets of the mid-levels, the ambient sounds of speeder traffic and distant chatter filled the air. Braze led the way, weaving through the crowds. They passed by various shops and kiosks, each one offering an array of goods, from exotic fruits to intricately crafted jewelry. But it was
Merrin's Wares that stood out as they approached.
The store was nestled between two larger buildings, its entrance framed by a pair of old, weathered columns. The sign above the door was written in elegant Aurebesh script, glowing softly in the dim light. Through the large, transparisteel windows, Loomi could see an array of brightly colored items—figurines, puzzles, holo-games, and even some rare items that looked like they had been collected from all corners of the galaxy.
As they stepped inside, the air was filled with the faint scent of something sweet and nostalgic, like the candies sold at fairs in more peaceful times. The walls were lined with shelves, each one overflowing with toys and trinkets. Holo-displays projected playful, animated scenes that danced across the ceiling, creating an atmosphere of wonder.
In the center of the store stood a large, intricately detailed model of the
Millennium Falcon, complete with tiny figures of Han Solo and Chewbacca inside the cockpit. Surrounding it were various action figures, plushies of different alien species, and even some old, weathered droid parts repurposed as quirky toys.
To the right, there was a section dedicated to Jedi-themed items—wooden training sabers, mini holocrons that glowed softly, and robes for younglings.
Braze watched Loomi as she took it all in.
