If I made a new character...

... what would it be?

I'm inclined to do something different, and rather simple. I've done the villain to death, and I'll always do the villain to death. I've done the grotesque to death, and I'll always do the grotesque to death...

But there are other things I could write!

What sort of character is most lacking from Chaos, that requires the most minimal amount of effort to write on a regular basis?

Once I get suggestions, I'll turn this into a poll

How about a pirate?

You could get a few buddies together and make a small and close-knit crew. They don't generally get mixed up in big things like galactic wars, and just stick to raiding vessels. Kind of like Hondo from the clone wars, but smaller. It's fun and doesn't require constant posting.

Steal an idea from me (one that I'll probably never use, anyway): A force using shard stuck in the same droid body as an AI (that has partial control of said body). Bonus? For one reason or another, the shard can't get out of the body. Double bonus? The AI doesn't think it's an AI. Potential triple bonus? The AI thinks that the shard is the AI.
EDIT: If you go with this one, I can supply an avatar and sig. I prepared them awhile back, even if I haven't made the character yet.

Also: Quadruple bonus: After several months of writing the character, reveal that the one you were writing as the shard... actually was the AI, and the AI was the real shard.

I'll probably use the idea at some point if you don't. Though there are plenty more ideas where that came from, so I'm sure I'll find something to keep me busy.
