If these walls could speak

Location: Castle Panteer in the Glarus Valley

Balcony outside the parlor reviewing the soldiers and loyalists of House Panteer and the refugees from House Thul

Ana stood with the former Captain of the Guard for House Thul, they were reviewing what additional needs his men, and those of House Thul needed.

While she understood her place within the hierarchy of Alderaan Nobility, she could not help but have a soft heart for those who were in trouble when trouble had come. "Give Captain Aram the list, I'll be sure that he is able to fulfill it.

Right now Ana needed to expand her lands to accommodate those around her, and she looked at where House Thul once stood contemplating if she should request these lands and help the loyalists rebuild their homes. Or perhaps it was better to just absorb them into House Panteer lands.

She walked with the Thul Captain, "any idea where your Duke Thul would have gone?"

"No Mam I will try to make some inquiries to see if his ship could be found or if he had sought asylum somewhere.

Ana nodded, "Very well" With a nod of her head she dismissed the Captain. She had to think and she had to rebuild the walls of House Panteer. It was time.

Ana entered the parlor from the side balcony this room was her favorite it was here that her cousin Stephen was betrothed it was this room where many of the decisions that affected House Panteer was made. The great hall were the seat of House Panteer resided was more for show, and intimidation than for laughter and camaraderie.

Ana's hand rested on the long velvet curtains that ran the length of the giant windows, the view from House Panteer from the top of the Mountains was stunning. She knew it made her catch her breath if she did not marry or never had children the leadership of House Panteer would pass to another she had cousins that could easily step in.

What was she to do about that? With her mother gone, presumed lost in the Netherworld as were so many millions of others the weight of decisions made for her house rested solely on her shoulders.

Rebuilding the walls, and refurbishing the house was only a small task to do.

By the door her aide, Emmaline stood watching her with a careful eye.

"Tea MiLady?"

Ana smiled at her, "Yes bring some tea, and find me the name of that bounty hunter I have a task him" She had decided she would find Duke Thul.

A deep cleansing breath pushing herself forward Ana went to her desk and began the task of running House Panteer.

She looked at the designers plans for the formal dining room, this would be where many of the beginning of agreements, and alliances would begin. This room needed to be done in the proper colors and present the correct atmosphere.

Ana flipped each of the pages, checking off the items she approved of, and the items that presented House Panteer in a favorable light.

The hideaway room between the Parlor and the foyer this needed to be intimate, and connect with the decor of the formal dining room. This room Ana stared at the concept drawing it was exactly what she envisioned.

A bit too ornate for her taste but still it was what she thought of

The foyer the Grand Hall where all visitors came in it's great expanse of space from floor to ceiling a stunning feat of architecture and very reminiscent of times past.

She was glad they had hired the architect and designer they were able to see her vision for what it was. Luxury, and yet a room to be used and lived in not only for decoration.
