Description:
The Anvil Missile Battery is a rapid fire missile launching systems for use on Imperium Build Capital vessels. It utilizes four general purpose missile launchers in conjunction with four sensor and targeting pods. Each targeting pod had multiple targeting systems which all work to target and track enemy craft. Each pod correlates and calculates the targets speed, trajectory, and course to estimate its flight path and best calculate a firing solution for targeting. Each then send this data to the dedicated targeting computer found in each pod which then compares each of the four separate firing solutions and creates one solution from the four individual solutions for supreme accuracy.
The launcher then chooses a missile type from the available missile types housed in the magazine. The chosen missile type is then loaded into the four separate launchers then moved the turret into position and fires on the target.
