Description: The IFWNK-4 Ion Cannon is the successor tot he old Borstel NK-3 Ion Cannon used by imperial gunships durring the New Orders time. It is a dual mounted ion weapon designed for use as heavy ion weapons on bombers and gunships and as point defense ion weapon systems on capital vessels. Made from alusteel the turret is light and durable and can withstand limited amounts of fire from fighter scale weapons. The NK-4 houses two ion cannons which are each as powerful as two of the older ion weapons used in the previous model. While it has dedicated capacitors, the rate of fire is roughly half that of standard as the charge needed to fire both muzzles of the weapon is higher.
