Description: The RL-4 is a starship anti-projectile weapon system designed off the concepts of the Hellcaster rotary blaster cannons. Like the other weapon systems made by IFW the RL-4 is built from light and durable Alusteel giving it some protection from starfighter scale weapons and making it light enough to track targets very rapidly. The turret houses two Hellcaster cannons making it very effective in its designed role as anti-missile and anti-projectile defense. With advanced targeting and a very high rate of fire the system is a formidable point defense weapon for IFW built warships
