Description: The XV-8 is built on the same mount as the larger XX-12 series. Utilizing Quadanium for the turrets hull the weapon has a good degree of protection from light capital and starfighter scale weapon systems. Mounting four turbolaser cannons the XV-8 can fire each individually for standard engagement missions. A Dual Linked mode fires two canons at a time for linked fire giving the weapon systems an extra punch but slowing the rate of fire.
