• Crafted with Novatrite to repel modern galactic technology, Vivi forged the blade in fire and imbued it with force energy from his own being. This stabilized the Nova crystals within making it incredibly durable and capable of withstanding lightsabers and other forms of energy based weaponry

• Magnetically crafted with the pulsars of Vivi's own magnetar heart and the Novatrite's normal reception to the same frequencies the rare metal sticks to the exterior of the blade for added defensive layers for both slashing and blunt force capability.
• Combustion Overdrive: Vivi began to forge his own path to a new future for the Ember Knights, along with his fellow Fytars. They were capable of studying ores from fellow Entars. This allowed Vivi to better understand principles of his own species and gemstones that contained massive amounts of energy to use in their favor. Realizing Nova crystals were a part of the Protectorate’s Draemidus Finis Crystals, Vivi reverse engineered it to make a sophisticated blade. One that could handle the immense heat of a Fytar without disrupting any armor with static interference. Instead, he forged the blade with a containment of Novatrite with his own pulsars and pyrokinetic infusions. To do this, not only did he use his own energy, but also magnetic shielding from core technology of Novatrite Magnetic Barrier Systems in the smallest of capacities. The result was one of that immense explosive capability and surges of massive shockwaves following after the explosions. These combustible shockwaves use the climb in temperature around the blade to generate heat transfer deflagration spikes with energy by combusting in a roaring plume of fire, while sending faster than the speed of sound shockwaves (sub-sonic) outward from the user. This ability takes some time to charge and re-charge as the imperfect Nova Crystals within are tempered through the Drael creations of Draemidus Finis Crystals, restoring the vibrational energy that is used to activate the explosions inside the leaking Nova Crystal.

• As Heavy as it is Large: The blade could have been made bigger, but Vivi didn’t want to sacrifice the rate in which he could swing the large blade with his own pulsars. When wielding it, the weight of Novatrite would be too much to bear for any normal physical specimen. Weighing half a ton, the pulsars allow Vivi to freely wield it without impediment.
• Shinra Tensei: While the blade is slightly unstable in its current state, this is the first forged weapon any Fytar has attempted. Shockingly the results are a terrifying amalgamation of logical and creative approaches to energy infusion allowing devastating shockwaves to ripple across the battlefield following righteous flames of explosive power.
• Novatrite Smithing: Novatar are no strangers to working with Novatrite. The blade is morphed with shards of Novatrite to allow a magnetic containment assisted by base technology from the Novatrite Magnetic Barrier Systems created together with Draelvasier. The outcome, one that allows a sole Novatar to manipulate the Novatrite exterior during fights. This method is part of the reaction to a Novatar’s pulsars from their magnetar hearts. The method prevents dulling of the fire-infused energy beneath the shell of scattered Novatrite and allows its user to provide heavier, protective onslaughts. Naturally, the blade is highly resistant to lightsabers and energy based tactics.

• Direct Lightning: If any form of lightning hits the exterior of the blade, its containment backup will fail leaving the energy basis of the blade open to other vulnerabilities. While this is dangerous, it does not make the blade incapable of still performing, but the time to charge a Combustible Shockwave and re-charge will take longer. Consequently, the blade’s unstable fashion could also result in broken Nova Crystals within the blade. This could cause the blade to only be the will of the Fytar, a fire sword with no abilities.
• Final Flash: Due to the core ability of the blade to cause explosions, the wielder would have to be able to withstand immense amounts of heat. This can be dangerous for others trying to perform the ability. Also, the explosions block line of sight for the practitioner and the opposition, making it difficult to see where either party is in combat during the explosions.
• Imperfectly Dangerous: Vivi is nowhere near a master smith. Only through his vision and mastery of logic had he made such a unique sword. Thus, those with exceptional crafted weapons and massive firepower, might prove difficult for the blade to handle. This could result in a complete shatter, if not, cracking all containment in place of the blade. In which case, making the weapon completely useless.

Years.

It took years for Vivi to start exploring the history of warriors before him. With his father’s knowledge passed down to him, he set out to learn from the Entar. Although, despite his reluctance, he found that their incessant need to help him find a True North was the least of his problems. Instead, he requested what they had come to know of gemstones, ores and other metals outside of Novatrite. After discovering multiple additions of applications already being made by the Entars for building structures, Vivi decided to take what he knew in terms of methods of forging to use his own energy to manifest a sword fit for the one they called, "The Black knight."

Upon his alliance with the Bryn’Adul Protectorate, Vivi discovered other methods and technology. Unbeknownst to him these forms of new technology could be incorporated into the overall creation of his first weapon. He sought guidance from the one they called Rakvul , a warlord who had survived the fate unlike other Draelvasier that came before. Vivi, consumed by the in-depth adaptation to survive, began to admire and engineer his own methods. He realized that other species were generating their own practices and inventing their own ways to push forward into the future.

This felt like a new beginning for him. It felt like the galaxy led him to this moment, to become independent and rely on his own to create something new and innovative. If he would succeed, others after him would follow.

So, Vivi began.

Leading the charge of Fytar smithing to his kind. To bring a new age of possibilities to his young culture. He refused to follow the status quo and what soon became a rightful test of who Fytar really were, he began to become consumed by it. His mind stirred with endless possibilities, until he stumbled upon a thought. If he could fuse some of his own energy into the process of making the blade, the force and other methods of crafting could take care of the rest.

The result was an arduous long seven month journey. With every stroke of energy and pounding of flame forged Novatrite, Vivi had done the impossible.

When Vivi rose to show his people and the Ember Knights his creation he screeched out through the energy waves for everyone in a roar.
