- Dark Temple. The warship carries a cult sanctium built onboard, at the vessel's depths. In there, the Dark Adepts of the Crimson Star Circle call upon their Dark Patrons, casting Force Rituals that enhance the power of those manning it, or crushing the power of those boarding it...
- Blessings of Eosir: The Dark Adepts reach out to the war patron, Eosir, offering blood and sacrifices of the blade to channel his thirst for dominion over all living creatures. When such ritual is performed, the warriors that receive the arcane elixir of the Adepts are tainted by Eosir's blessing. Blessed warriors of Eosir, should they are not Force Sensitive (a rarity amongst Athysian ranks) become more keen to danger, as the spirits of the Ancient One guide their blades against their enemies. The Force Sensitives, on the other hand, tend to become Shadows within the Force. Their bodies are possessed by an unnatural calmness, which allows them to hide their mark in the Force much more effectivelly than normally; When they engage in battle, however, their compressed fury fueled by the Dark Side is unleashed in a storm of violence.

When the Dark Adepts cast their ritual, summoning Ignisir's pain onboard their warship, the hull emits a dark ethereal essense. A chorus of untold millions of souls echo in the minds of those who seek harm onboard the warship, as the ancient Demon sees the vessel's host as its children; And the boarding parties... those who seek them harm... Very avatars of the Ancient One's pain spawn across the decks, when defender blood is spilled; Singing the enemy a cacophony of tormented screams and cries of pain; Causing those who do not manage to withstand this darkness, the pain of a million knives, piercing through the very bones under the skin. During such summoning, the very warship is shrouded by a dark mist, making any lifeforms in its interior impossible to trace through both the Force and Scanner. Its interior turns grim, with ghostly presences plaguing the decks. Any creature without the ability to see through the Force is as good as blind, while those who can pierce the arcane dark... See things they would only wish they could unsee...

- Deathtrap. The Athysian Ignisir-Class Star Destroyers are meant to stand as moving deathtraps for any hostile that engages them. In the Raider Fleets, the Ignisir Star Destroyers are oftentimes the core of a blockade, as they carry large Jammer devices, capable of enforcing planetary communications blackout. When not part of a fleet, should an enemy vessel finds herself in a disadvantageous position against one such monsterous warship like an Ignisir Star Destroyer, then escaping is not always the easy way to go, as the Star Destroyers are equipped with Gravity Well Projectors, capable of depriving the foe the option to jump away.
- Dread Infused. The Ignisir Warships are built as dark temples of the Ancient Ones, just like most capital ships of the Athysian Hegemons. The rituals that can be casted by the dark adepts and witches that reside onboard provide an extra layer of arcane defense on these dark ships.
- Scarce Starfighters. The Ignisirs are heavily focused Siege ships. However, regardless the several hundreds of troops that may reside in their barracks, the Ignisirs do not possess significant starfighter numbers to be self-sufficient when it comes to void warfare. This makes them dependant on escort ships, and their point-defense batteries....
- Cultist Ark. The Ignisir-Class Star Destroyers can become impregnable flying fortresses with the aid of the dark adepts of the owning Hegenika. However, if exposed to a huge Force-nullifying field either within or without the warship, then these "blessings" may be broken, without a fight being given for it. If such is the case, the technological enhancements and the barracks onboard are the final line of defense against the enemy.
The Ignisir-Class Star Destroyers are heavy siege ships dedicated to blockade planets or fleets, jamming communications, while also transporting and deploying huge numbers of troops in the battlefield. Stout, bulky-built, these massive warships stand out from the rest of the Athysian Raider Fleets, as the largest warships of their class. Owned by the most powerful warlords of the Athysian Hegenika, the Ignisir-Class Star Destroyers are one of the most impactful shows of strength and wealth of the Athysian League.
