In an effort to increase efforts against the enemy of the Sith Empire, Zahori conscripted the idea to create a line of infiltration units that would work alongside the Aramada in reconnaissance and assassination missions. When early designs for these new droids were made, Zahori wanted to use a metal she had only just recently heard of: Pyronium. She was informed of it's ability to absorb electromagnetic energy, making it a superb counter to ion and emp weaponry to a point. Each droid was given it's own face and backstory to give them 'life' so that their infiltration could be foolproof.
Once a droid is implanted into an enemy's forces, the are able to interface with that government's military and civilian files in order to put themselves in them so that their cover stories have merit behind them. None of the droids are given high profile positions, but they are placed in positions where they are capable of getting any and all information they could use against the enemies of the Empire. In other circumstances, the IIU-1000 might be sent on an assination mission. In those cases, the IIU will be planted in a position close to the indiviual, but not too obviously close. The goal is to remain inconspicuous and make the assassination seem like an accident unless other methods are absolutely necessary to complete the mission. The IIU-1000s operate in such a amtter that you may now know they were even there and if you do, it won't be until it's too late.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
- The inner workings of each IIU-1000 includes significant amounts of pyronium in the skeletons and circuitry. This metal provides substantial resistance to electromagnetic energy by absorbing it and, when it becomes too much, dispersing it harmlessly.
- The IIU-1000s, being HRDs, are capable of fitting into any situation without notice. They get into where the Sith Empire implants them and carry out their mission with little trouble.
- Heavy EMP blasts such as EMPs or bombs can still cause damage to the IIU-1000
- While the skeleton is strong enough to endure most damage, it's exterior shell, the synthskin, is not. Should the synthskin be damaged, the possibility of exposure to the enmy is increased exponentially.
