Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Built almost directly off of the IJ-X1, the IJ-X2 is a larger version of the baffled ion-jet. Like it's smaller counterpart, the engine provides stealth at the cost of speed, and is quite durable. At the same time, the X2's are much more complicated thanks to their scale, making them much more difficult to repair than a standard ion-jet engines.
- Intent: Design a a stealth sublight drive for frigates and cruisers.

- Manufacturer: Concord Specialized Technologies
- Affiliation: Directorate, Concord Specialized Technologies
- Market Status: Closed-Market
- Model: IJ-X2 Baffled Ion-Jet Engine
- Modularity: No
- Production: Limited
- Material: Ion engine components, baffles
- Baffles: Each IJ-X1 is equipt with a baffle system to mask the engines energy signature. Using the system reduces the engines power output do to redirecting thrust. (Speed -1, more difficult to detect.)
- Stealth capability.
- Fairly durable design.
- Lose of speed needed to activate baffles.
- Not the easiest drive to repair when damaged.
