I'll Keep Coming

Vili Ozouf

Guest
Feet crunching through the snow, chest bare Vili looked up through the billowing wind, his blonde ponytail whipping to and fro. A look of mild amusement sat on the Valkyri’s face as he simply stood in the icy weather. The cold attempting to sink into his skin, such weather couldn’t even give the people in his homeland the sniffles let alone freeze them, harm them. The snow fell upon Vili’s broad shoulders shifting to fall to the ground as the Sith once more began his journey up what remained of the mountain. Ankle deep in the snow it attempted to slow his progress, failing as the thick calves continued to drive the large man forward. Head tilting upwards, the man’s cerulean eyes locked on their target.

Mere meters away sitting atop a plateau was the temple, its white stone nearly camouflaged by the cascading snow. Despite age eating away at it, some portions being nothing but rubble it was still a monument of the Jedi. A group Vili despised, not due to some pitiful feud between the light and dark, but due to their hypocrisy. His family had been slayed by Jedi, and despite their preaching of peace any of them would turn their back on it in an instant to deliver what they consider “justice”. They interfered where they shouldn’t, intervening in events that didn’t include them. They’d stolen his clan from him, and it was one of them that had actually managed to duel on even ground with Vili on Coruscant.

Fist opening and closing, his blood heating as he thought back on the fight Vili felt a sense of lust overtake him, not for some simple act of hedonistic pleasure. No, he craved another fight, one worthy of a Valkyri, to prove himself a true warrior even among those that wielded mystical abilities and considered themselves to be ones. How obsessed the Sith were with their own power and titles, sometimes one simply had to enjoy the battle, let it be apart of them. To free the beast that lay within.

Yet seeking a challenge was not his reason for approaching the temple, it was in search of knowledge. Vili may be a warrior, but he was lacking in knowledge of not just the galaxy but the deeper aspects of the force abilities that currently escaped him. The air around the acolyte whispered the fresh air filled his nostrils as he reached the foot of the temple stairs.
