No man is above Justice. This phrase is one that is spoken the moment a trusted individual is given the title of Adjudicator. The duties and responsibilities of the Adjudicator have changed from one to the next, however the goal is always the same, safeguarding the integrity of Illyria. The position was designed by the King in hopes that the mere thought of dispatching an Adjudicator would be enough to keep the more ambitious members of Illyrian society in line, namely the Aristocracy. The Adjudicators are hard-nosed and do not bend in terms of will. They are experts dedicated to their cause and have been known to exterminate entire Noble lines if they believe it is what is best for Illyria. Technically speaking the Adjudicator falls under the directives of the Illyrian Royal Military, but they are above the military in almost all facets.
- Intent: The Royal Adjudicators are special Investigators/Executioners who are dispatched on the authority of the Illyrian Monarchy to handle disputes, treachery, and sedition particularly within the Illyrian Nobility & Military.

- Organization Name: The Illyrian Royal Adjudicators
- Classification: Militant Arbitration Unit
- Affiliation: The High Court of Illyria ~ The Monarchy
- Organization Symbol: N/A
- Description: An Adjudicator is only dispatched when a significant threat to Illyrian life is identified and that threat lies within a sanctioned organization under the Illyrian Crown such as the military, The Silma, The Knights of Illyria, or members of the Aristocracy. No one person serves as an Adjudicator for life, rather the title of Adjudicator comes with a number of permissions that allows a Specialist sanctioned by the Crown to act independently for the sake of Illyria and The Monarchy. Adjudicators maintain the right of Judge, Jury, & Executioner and are answerable only to the highest authority of the land, the Monarchy. Adjudicator's identities are strictly hidden due to the sensitive nature of their work. An Adjudicator can only maintain his power for a year at a time. If the Adjudicator's investigations do not yield fruit within a year he is either replaced or his case will be closed. Murder of an Adjudicator is one of the highest crimes a person can commit as they are considered extensions of the Monarchy.
- Headquarters: None
- Domain: Jurisdictional claim over Illyria
- Notable Assets: An Adjudicator is given access to near limitless assets. He is able to commission soldiers, confiscate property, & enlist Illyrian Knights to settle his case. He is also given access to the near limitless wealth of the Illyrian Monarchy.
- Hierarchy: Generally there is only ever one Adjudicator enacted at a time, as the powers of the Adjudicator are considered too dangerous to disperse over multiple individuals. Adjudicators hold no internal Hierarchy as their organization is based over the fact only one of them usually operates at any given time.
- Membership: In all of Illyria's History there have been very few Adjudicators. The High Court of Illyria can request the Crown to dispatch an Adjudicator for certain matters that require their particular overwatch, yet they often do not. Often the matters do not merit such a strong hand and many Nobles do not like Adjudicators poking around their business in fear for what they will find. The King and Queen of Illyria alone reserve the right to empower someone with the station of Adjudicator. When an Adjudicator is selected it can be from the Illyrian Military, Knighthood, or even the High Court.
- Climate: The Adjudicators hold an air of fear as their coming often spells out death for some. Since even the richest of Nobles on Illyria fear the Adjudicators it has naturally overflowed into the commoners as well.
- Reputation: The Adjudicators are feared and respected by all. They hold a reputation for eliminating the enemies of Illyria with extreme prejudice and efficiency.
- Curios: Uniform - During their Adjudication they wear a special uniform with a helmet that keeps their face and features hidden. The helmet can only be removed by a special code that the Illyrian Monarchy is privy to.
- Rules: Adjudicators are forbidden from sharing their identity to anyone or revealing the history of their Adjudication missions.
- Goals: The goal of this organization is the destruction of treachery and corruption in the inner workings of Illyria.
