A message had been sent out across the advance of the stars from the insignificant world of Aurum. Once the territory of the Yuuzhan Vong Horde, Aurum was little more than a festering pit of Graug who had colonized the world during the Vong occupation. Since the death of Dredge it had lain untouched by life from the outside, standing only as a monument to the sins of a Emperor of two failed empires. What possible worth could be held on such a world? The answer was obvious if one looked deep enough, for it had become the final resting place of Darth Vulcanus after the fall of the New Order.

Broken and decayed, the Sith Emperor found his way to his people on the world and demanded a temple be built in his honor. He claimed that it would be the site where he finally would ascend to the status of a god among mortals, the place where he would defeat the only true fear a Sith had. The temple would become the battleground between him and death itself and in this battle, he planned to slay death with his sheer power. However, when the Dark Lord entered he never returned to the outside world. But now, months after the fall of his empire, a group of faceless scavengers claim to have found the remains of his temple and the artifacts inside. They care little for who buys them as long as the price is right, the only question is who will claim the prize first?

It is here, on the broken ground of a desert lost to time, that the dark temple await those who would heed the call.

Aurum, a clandestine crap hole of a world. Once a place flourishing energies from both sides of the force it was ancient, held together by the force users that held it together. They were dead now, their corpses hung in various places rotting and festering as crows ate their sweet sweet eyeballs. There was only darkness now, only darkness for those here and those who came. The Vong and sith had descended upon this world and burned it with fire, colonizing it with both species of Yuuzhan Vong and Graug. Passing by the planet a young and eager sith heard the transmission from the planet and against his better nature and ignorance he decided to go see what the hell was going on.

Dropping into the planet's atmosphere the young boy along with a guard detail of hired muscle touched down on the surface. Slowly the ramp lowered and out stepped a young boy wearing a loose fitting suit and tie, behind him could only be described as some of the galaxies most ruthless looking bounty hunters. Slade had always been a person to manipulate rather than doing the fighting himself. He possessed hatred in his heart and power that flowed through his veins from his father [member="Darth Vornskr"] 's blood.

Taking a step out Slade looked upon the massive temple and decided it was worth checking out, perhaps there were some form of relics in there to plunder. Lately slade had felt nothing but rage and blood lust upon the people who were close to him, so he mostly spent his time exploring the galaxy looking for ways to make himself stronger over the years. Perhaps today he would find what he needed

"You are remarkably strong willed, for a lesser creature" Vulcanus groaned to himself, or rather, the what was left of Dredge's essence. The Dark Lord had long preserved himself in the armor he wore into combat, allowing himself to live far after his mortal body had decayed to little more than ashes. He had expected that whoever was foolish enough to put on the armor would be instantly overwhelmed and destroyed by the power of his energies, his assumptions were wrong and now he was meant to pay for it with the presence of this bickering swine of a Vong. "How is it that while I have only grown stronger, you have shriveled to nothing but a bed wetting roach?" questioned the former Emperor and Graug, his hands playing with the Sith Sword in his hand.

He wasn't sure if Dredge would be able to answer him, but he knew he was there listening like a child at his parents door. It was in the midst of this nearly-self bickering that the presence of another dark soul descended upon the surface of the planet, a visitor drug here by the transmission no doubt. There was no need for him to go to greet them, they would find their way to him soon enough.
