I think there are a few tutorials posted on the board. I'll see if I can dig those up for you. A lot of people just ask if they can borrow someone elses template and then make small tweaks. Some of it is a lot like HTML

(External site) - here is a useful page that runs through the basics of BBCode. There are other guides out there, ranging from simple to complicated. Something to keep in mind is that each site can activate different tags so even if something is enabled on one site it might not be for another. Like Kitter said though, people play around in their threads all the time in this subforum.
