I'm going to need to get drunk for this reunion

In some sort of higher up drama, evidenced by pressure and politics, Arisa Yune had stepped down as Grandmaster and once again Josh had to deal with drama concerning a Jedi faction. To be frank, he wasn't happy about this, not at all, but he was at the moment more concerned for Arisa. Fact was, Josh had been through this. He'd had similar issues, a similar departure from the role, himself. He wanted to help, he wanted to help somehow.

And of course Shmi had an idea.

He contacted Relina Zhan to tell her of Master Labooda's plan, Relina was someone who Josh had intended to meet back up with anyway after a short encounter on their last mission where Josh had flown with Angel Squadron for a training drill to assist the Silver's allies. Relina was an ally to the Silvers herself, and was all game for the idea to cheer up Arisa. So they set it up, the hot tub in the palace on Gallinore was heated up, and Josh and Shmi had made holes in their schedule to meet up with Relina and enjoy an afternoon in a hot tub with some drinks and talk and make jokes and share stories, and just forget about all of the drama, all the strife, for a little while.

But there was one problem last minute.

Arisa was gone.

She had gone completely off the grid, and they couldn't find her. While they were upset, of course, they had still made plans. In the end, it ended up being them wanting to forget for a little while. That was fine, they were all game for it.

Either way, the two Jedi Masters had met up on Gallinore, and awaited the arrival of Ducha Zhan...

All over again

Finally at home again after a call for the Hapans to assist in a training drill as part of the burgeoning alliance between the Silver Jedi and the Hapes Consortium, Relina Zhan was glad to be out of that flightsuit and back into something more comfortable, like a dress. The war was over, it seemed, too. Hapes Prime was rebuilding, but Hapan Space was under a tight military quarantine at the border with checkpoints and entirely new fleets amassed to guard them. It was almost like they were expecting something to go down in the near future. Even reports of pirate activity was scarce lately. "Doormat" faction, indeed...

Frankly, it was as if the woman lived two different lives: that of a posh noblewoman and that of a rough sailor... and the truth was, she was living those two lives exactly at the same time. The gorgeous woman hadn't bothered to have her hair done up fancy for this little get-together. It had been left down and clipped by an ornate barrette. Her dress was a satin-like material dyed a brilliant purple. She wore deceptively simple, albeit still expensive, sandals in white and silver-tones and no jewelry. Basically, she didn't look as if she were expecting house guests by the lack of elaborate style, but perhaps this was closer to an everyday look.

The palace, however, had a stark ultra-modern tone to it, but an architecture that was distinctly Hapan. The whole place was built to be pleasing to the eye and brightly lit in the daytime. In what passes for night on Gallinore, let alone any Hapan world for that matter, artificial lighting as well as light from the colourful, starlight sky and Gallinore's twin moons lit up the halls well. Light-tape lined the corridors and the accessways so that none of the residents, noble nor servant, nor guest, would stumble in any dark areas at night; the Hapan breed of Humanity was inherently nightblind. This was yet another means to mitigate what other people would consider a handicap.

She walked toward the second floor drawing room above the museum-like first floor antechamber briskly. it was likely her twin might also be on the way as well. The two identical Zhan twins were mirror images of each other and seemed to possess an odd mental link. They could almost literally read each other's minds and could finish each other's sentences. True enough, Alessandra was making her way to the same room at the same pace in a similar dress as her sister, but in blue. They had been a floor apart and were on opposite sides of the palace heading in opposite directions, yet both were approximately the same closing distance from their guests.

The two women entered the drawing room together at almost the same time from opposite accessways. The drawing room itself, basically a palace's more lavish equivalent to a living room in a commoner's house, was well-lit by both artificial light and floral-scented candles. Servants were present to offer drinks and food to the guests, who had missed the formal dinner time an hour before they arrived. The seats were white and quite comfortable, coming in the form of sectionals and a pair of matching chairs, padded with a plush material and a soft outer casing. There was also a white-marble and tempered glass coffee-table set in the middle of the seating arrangements with a space beneath the upper glass surface where recently printed local and national publications, some stil printed on paper the old fashioned way, were neatly arranged. However, the majority of these publications were entirely in Hapan calligraphy, but there were a few that were printed in Aurebesh, though. The windows were clear with the elegant curtains drawn, letting in some light from the rapidly descending Gallinorean night, a spectacle that might well be considered astounding to an outsider. The sky was just beginning to show the beautiful colours of the Transitory Mists lit up by the light and radiation of hundreds of stars in the Hapes Cluster.

"Presenting Ducha and Lady Zhan." a handsome male servant said in accented Basic, his head dipping in acknowledgement of his employer's arrival along with the rest of the other servants present. A female servant approached with a datapad in hand, saying something in the mellifluous Hapan language to Relina.

The Servants were dressed nicely in fine materials and with elegant style. The males had their hair, whatever the style or length, held by a stylish headband and wore loose, comfortable looking tunics and trousers in white with cyan trim. Their shoes seemed to be soft and flexible, nicely matching the uniform, in gentlemanly masculine style. The females were dressed similarly, but with more feminine tunics that wore like short dresses with leggings and had white ballet flats of soft, fine material. They could almost pass for slippers, perhaps, but were a bit more sturdy. The females also tended to do their hair up more elaborately.

Ducha Zhan would nod and quickly replied back in Hapan and would nod to her guests. Her eyes first met Josh's, the emotional attachment still sort of there from their last encounter here in this building. But the woman he was with... What was her story?

"Good evening. I am Ducha Relina Zhan. Welcome to my humble residence." she said to Shmi. To Josh, she said, "And Master Yune is not here yet, no?"

"I am Lady Alessandra Zhan." Relina's twin said, her voice having a slightly different inflection to her thick accent. Both women's accents were thick, in point of fact. Relina's inflection, however, was military influenced while Alessandra's was influenced directly from Royal Court and other noble influences.

(Just a reminder, no posting order, post as your muse pleases)

The Jedi Master would step forward as Ducha Zhan would come into view, smiling lightly as he would gingerly take her hand to shake. "It has been some time, Ducha Zhan, Lady Zhan" He would remark as he would let go of her hand and proceed to shake the Lady's as well. "How long has it been?" Josh would inquire. "Two, three years? Maybe more? We have quite a bit of catching up to do."

He was happy to see Relina again after so many years, he'd considered her a close friend for some time, even if they hadn't spoken in a very long time. Duty pulled people apart, it was normal... He'd learned it was simply part of life at this point.

"This is Master Labooda. Former Grandmaster Of The Jedi Order. This was her idea" He would introduce as he would motion them toward Shmi, of course with a joke in tow. Of course, that was totally wrong, but this wasn't the first time that Josh had referred to Shmi by her former formal title. To be fair, Shmi HAD once been Josh's boss, and he'd probably called her "Master Labooda" so many times that it was going to take some practice to remember to refer to her as "Master DragonsFlame". He'd get it eventually. Even if he knew she was going to tease him for that later.

Though his expression faltered a bit when she asked where Arisa Yune was, and he would shake his head, letting out a sigh.

"I messaged you about it before, but I guess you didn't get it in time. Arisa Yune is not coming" He would admit, scratching his head. "She's decided that she... Wants to be alone for a little while, I guess. I hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience to our plans?" He would inquire, his voice indicating he was trying to make the best of a bad situation, since they had already all set time in their busy schedules to meet up and soak up and catch up. Of course it was quite clear he would much prefer that Arisa had shown, and he was just as upset about her not appearing as the others likely would be.
