Being a child still, you can start with Force awareness, telekinesis, basic Force skills like Force Speed, Force Jump.
And lightsaber wise you can start with stances,effective Lightsaber wielding, using the Force while using your lightsaber to enhance your strength, not to tire yourself while swinging your saber. Then, as you think you are ready for level 2, you and your Master goes to find a crystal for you. Then the real fun starts with duels and practices.

Having a master helps your training, you don't NEED one but it helps you continue your storyline faster.
As for enrolling, think about what Ryker wants, if he wants to be the protector of the weak and enemy of the darkness from the front lines, the Guardian is for him, if he wants to be secretive and he wants to become the shadow to win, then Silver Shadows, or if he wants to Master the ways of the Force and use lightsaber when only he needs, Silver Consular is for him. It's what your character wants, and how you want to develop him

Having listened to [member="Nima Tann"] I have decided I want to be trained as a Guardian who uses a double bladed lightsaber that can be unhooked in the center becoming twin one handed lightsabers, and uses powers such as bellow and force pull and push.
