Appearance:
Image Source: Star Trek - Into Darkness
Height: 5'7'' (1.7m)
Weight: 120lbs
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Long, straight, black
Physique: Tall, athletic swimmer build.
Soft features. Round eyes. Heavy lashes. Full lips. Willowy frame. Spry, agile, not strong.
Wardrobe: Consists of Eve Foundation Uniforms and basic travel garb (like that pictured above).
Personality: An extrovert, Imka wears her emotions in the open for all to see. She has a stronger opinion than she does filter, and so what may come across as crass or snarky is really just in inability to speak diplomatically. She is painfully passionate about helping people and being the better person - which extends to those beyond herself. Having grown up as the daughter of a loyal and devout Priest of Moross, Emri Larue, Imka's middle name was given in honor to Aesir Inari. Emri raised his daughter to emulate the kindness and grace displayed by the Aesir, but Imka constantly finds herself coming up short. With no Aesir-given talents or powers like other followers, she resigned to attending school to become a field medic. Netherworld destroyed her dreams, her family, and her very cultural way of life as the Moross Crusade scattered to the aethers of the galaxy.
Imka is mildly embittered by her poor fortunes but stubbornly keen on chasing those dreams. She gave every last credit she had to follow a rumor that the Priestess Mae now lead a humanitarian foundation. The credits ran out when she arrived at Byblos with nothing but a small bag of belongings to her name and the obstinate nature to make things happen.
Weapon of Choice: A mini-blaster that she purchase for self defense. She's a good enough shot for inanimate targets but has never used it against a living thing. It's mostly just there to make herself feel better and her purse feel heavier.
Wealth: Imka makes a modest amount of money working for the Eve Foundation. Enough to afford her a small duplex apartment she splits with another Foundation worker who is rarely ever home.
Combat Function: Medic. Meat shield? Sass-bot.
Skills: Field medic skills. Decent target shooter. Works well under pressure. Great at brushing off advances from the male-types.
Notable Possessions: Book of Moross. Some family pictures.
Other Notes: Imka was only 6 when her father left his cushy business job on Coruscant to join the religious movement in wild space known as the Moross Crusade. She never knew her mother and so formed a close bond with her father, growing to admire his passion for his work as well as his boisterously kind nature. He was a natural voice for the Gods, something that Aesir Inari (Amorella Shamalain) came to recognize when they first met on Coruscant. Emri became a High Priest of Inari despite the fact that he had no healing skills of his own. His was not the power to heal the body, but the power to heal the soul and the mind. To make believers out of new recruits and pilgrims. To turn the vagrant soul into a devout worshipper. Living up to the standards set by him and to fill his shoes was a tall task, indeed. Imka took a note from his book in his level of determination to make a difference and signed up to become a Field Medic, to help those in the throes of battle who could not help themselves.
It came as no surprise that when the man vanished during the Reaping and never returned after the Netherworld event, Moross began to crumble. Without him, without their Aesirs, the people were lost and easily lead astray. Though several people flocked to Imka for the familiar name, she could not fill the gap left behind by her father's disappearance. She was left to pick up the piece of a life torn apart by powers even beyond the control of the Aesirs.
Several years went by. Imka struggled to make ends meet. She signed on with the local militia that had taken charge to get Exocron back under control but found that the shattering of the Crusade meant also the weakening of beliefs. Imka knew that there remained pocket groups of devout Morossi people and she heard rumor that Priestess Mae under the sigil of Inari had made movements closer to the outer rim. Imka collected what credits remained of her father's inheritance and set course for Byblos. The rest is history.
Intent: For use in an upcoming plot as a reoccurring face within the Eve Foundation.
