Imminence Imminent

[member="Geneviève Lasedri"]

Well, Camellia certainly hadn't expected there to be a time when she would be meeting with an underground movement's leader. Yet all the same, the Rebel Alliance's current leader would be arriving on her station soon. Of course, it wasn't exactly public knowledge, after all one couldn't really claim to be doing business with those sorts of people when it seemed like so many political and government factions deeply despised them. Yet all the same, Camellia had every intention of meeting with the woman, Genevieve Lasedri, and speaking with her. The Republic's War with the One Sith was going very poorly. The Sith constantly trashed the Republic in every form of combat the two engaged in. Whether it was between warships, Force Users, or monsters and men, the One Sith stood victorious.

Their research occurred at a much faster pace, with more involved in their success than on the Republic's side of things, and it showed. Yet, no matter what, Rendili Stardrive's CEO was going to see to it that she did the best that she could to ensure the Republic did not fall easily. Rendili thrived on the Republic protection. Who knew what would happen if the Republic fell and Rendili was conquered by someone else. Would they snatch the shipyards from her world's control? How would they treat her people? Rendili was so very peaceful right now, it was prospering, though since the Core was so divided it wasn't as secure or rich as it once was.

The Republic couldn't afford to lose, and Camellia knew what had to be done. She had to create the tools necessary to beat them. She had to form alliances with the groups that could save the Republic, that could support them. The Rebel Alliance claimed to stand for freedom and justice. At the very least, they had to dislike the Sith enough to do something about it themselves, but to do so they had to be well armed. It might mean fewer profits in the quarter, but the company was thriving off its contracts with the Republic right now. And the business supporting the Silver Jedi had gone well too.

So now all Camellia felt she had to do was wait. Wait for the Rebel Alliance's leader to arrive, for the call that a scheduled client was appearing.

A client she would build one of the most powerful starships in the galaxy for.
