Immortality or trick of science?

Stardust was at work on her Starfighter...mostly because it needed it and second because she needed her mind off of something she had been thinking of lately....that being how she was gonna keep hiding the visits to the age renewal chamber from gray

She hated hiding it but yet she didn't know how to explain to him...more less even if they've been together a few months now she felt he'd be turned off by the fact she use that...


So she sighed as she opens dher message and sent one to him, it read

To:gray
Hey I need you to come by today...I need to talk to you about something important

Gray was in the middle of training himself. He had already worked his body out with running, obstacle runs, and lifting weights. His bare chest was sweaty still as he worked on lifting up objects using the force. He had his eyes closed and doubled up on things by using force sight to see what he was doing. He didn't know much right now, but he was doing his best to work on what he did know. He was working on moving a small crate filled with spare parts right now. He would have needed both hands to lift it normally because it was heavier than it looked. He had gotten it a few feet off the floor and was moving it over to another crate that was about waist high for him. He wanted to set it up on top of larger crate. He almost had it on top when his datapad buzzed in its place on top of his change of clothes. He finished putting it on top of it before he walked over to check it out.

Gray read the message while he wiped off the sweat he had accumulated from the effort of moving the crate through the force. It was from Star, and it didn't look promising. He knew he had done something wrong. He had screwed up and now Star was pissed at him. She was probably going to slap him with one of her metallic hands or even both of them. He knew it, he just didn't know what he had done. He sent her a message back as he got ready to show up to meet her. He knew it was the only thing he could do to try to get out of trouble.

Gray hit send and a message that read popped up on Star's screen:

On my way Beautiful......please don't kill me.

Stardust was beneath her fighter as a message appeared in her HUD, she opened it and raised a eye brow....don't kill him...why would she kill him he has done nothing wrong....odd odd handsome man he is

She smiled and kept fixing the hydraulic section on the wings...had to keep those in top shape for battle

Gray forgot to put his shirt back on and only changed out his pants when Key had gotten him to Star's home on Naboo. He stepped off of the ship and headed for the hanger, because he could see it was being used. He went over to there quickly at a half sprint. He knew he was in trouble for something. He could feel it in his bones. He had done something and just didn't know what it was yet. He came up to the door to the hanger with his bare chest gleaming from a thin layer of sweat he had worked up. He said as he walked into the place, " Alright I got here as fast as I could Beautiful. What did you want to talk about? Oh and you should know you are the most wonderful, amazing woman ever to live. I am so lucky to be with you....." He had forgotten to get her flowers and sweets. He was screwed now.

Stardust was in the engine area working away fixing it and moving things around...boy she had forgot about the engine section for a looooong time.

She felt the xwing shame and smiled lightly... Hopefully she had of disturbed him

Oh hey"she stopped and stared at his shirtless figure, she awed and bit her lip before shaking her head and smiling"yea I know I'm amazing ahahah"she got up and smiled"well I guess since I'm repairing I can talk and work anyhow"she said and moved parts around"there's been something on my mind lately"she said and looked at him"something I've kept hidden from you and we'll now it's time to tell you"she said and went to work"OK so you have probably been wondering how I look so good for my age

Gray walked over to Star and gave her a kiss on the forehead. He listened to her and felt more at ease as she spoke. So he wasn't in trouble then, and probably just wanted him to come over because she was feeling lonely. They could talk, eat, and then have some fun that evening. That was what he thought though until she mentioned the secret. Secrets were not good. Secrets were bad, very bad. He frowned a bit before he said, " A secret? About your looks? Don't tell me you were once a guy or that you are actually a minor. I don't know what to think about either of those things........ Need some help with the ship?"

She smiled as he kissed her forehead and kept working"no no hahaha I'm not minor neither were a man"she said as she nodded"yea a little help mostly handing parts"she said as she duvked down into the engine "well ...I..gray" she sighed and mumbled before speaking"I've been using a age renewal chamber...something someone is letting me use ..
"She said and went silent"

Gray is relieved to hear she was neither a man nor a minor. That made things so much better. He moved over to help her out as best he could. He was use to fixing ships because of growing up on them his entire life. He couldn't fly a ship, but he could fix stuff fairly well. He was no mechanic though. He said as he stood there helping her as much as she would let him, " Age renewal chamber? What is that and what is the point of it?"

She mived around as she took a part out and sat it aside as she kept moving...*yea age renewal chamber basically it sets your body back eight years...so I'm twenty eight and I look twenty"sgs said as she used the force to get a part and replace the old one"the point is I wanna live until I tire of life...I wanna see it all watch armys rise and fall see the universe change slowly "she said and looked at him

Gray wasn't really needed right now it seemed by Star. She had everything handled by using the force. He wondered why he was even standing here now without a shirt on and bare foot. He listened to her talk about the age renewal chamber and why she used it. He had to admit, it didn't sound so bad to him. He said as he looked at Star, " You always were a romantic Beautiful. I have to say that your reasoning sounds so much better than those who normally do this kind of thing. Who cares about power and world domination? That gets boring after pretty quickly." He smiled at her for a moment before a thought came into his head. He said, " I guess this means you will outlive me. You were going to anyways, but now I will be nothing more than a moment in your life......."

She hated admitting she didn't need him helping with her using the force and all..just having him so she could talk was better"my reasoning is for knowledge and glory...I could have all the power I wanted without effort..."she said and looked to him as she gathered her words...he was right...even if she didn't use it she'd out live him...and now she would for sure...then a thought came into her head"well uh James...I'm currently the only one using it...at least to my knowledge...and...gray.."she took a breath"I want you to be my last person...last man I ever have to be with"she said and looked at him"gray...why don't you come with me next time..I want you to live with me as long as I do...till we either die from combat or disease"she said and chuckled

Gray listened to Star as he stood there next to the ship still in his pants only state of dress. He didn't know what to think about what she had to say. It was an interesting offer but he wasn't sure how much he liked the idea. He had to admit that getting so much time to spend with Star was tempting, but could he stand to live for that long with her or not? The only thing that he could see that would keep him going and sane would be Star's presence and only her presence. He stayed quiet for some time as he thought it over, but he had gotten no closer to a definite answer. He finally said after a big sigh, " This is some big news Beautiful. I don't know what to think about it either. I love you with all of my heart Star. I do and I want to spend my life with you, but I don't know if I could stand living for that long. You would be the only thing that could keep me going through the years and I want to spend as long as I can with you until we both finally end. But even so its just.....just too sudden......I need some time to think on an actual answer. Is that alright with you?" He smiled at her as he finished.

She felt him in turmoil... Maybe it had been to soon to tell him or ...or well she didn't know and honestly didn't want to worry on it to much...time would give a answer

Gray could tell how much what he said had bothered her. He didn't want to bother her, just didn't know what to think. It was a pretty heavy ball to drop and it was going to take some time for him to lift it up enough to do something with. He kissed her back when she came to kiss him. He thought about it for a moment longer and said, " You know what Beautiful, how about I join you on the treatments in a few years? I don't think I can stand to look that much younger just yet. Would that be alright with you?" He smiled at her as he waited for her answer. He wasn't ready to do anything right now, but he was sure he would be okay in a few years. After all, he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could and she was offering him far more time than he ever expected to have.

She smiled as he kissed her and nodded"sounds good to me dear hahah I should be do for a treatment by then"she said and hugged him tightly"gray I love you

Gray smiled at Star as she spoke to him. He said to her as he squeezed her shoulder again, " I love you too Star. From the first moment we met and I will until my last moment in this galaxy, no matter when that should be" He leaned down and kissed her again as he finished speaking. He truly did feel that way about her. He couldn't lie about that even if he wanted to. He said after he broke away from the kiss, " So what should we do now Beautiful? Did you want to go anywhere or do anything?" He smirked and gave her a wink as he added, " Maybe someone?"
