The Imperial Praetorian Helmet is the result of integrating the needs of a soldier with the needs of a Force User in terms of protective gear. Scaling protection in a balance with tactical awareness and support, the Helmet offers an ideal piece of equipment for the members of the Praetorian Guard and Knights equally.
Aided by a strong array of sensors and utility as well as an AI which evaluates information, the Helmet serves as an asset in the midst of battle just as it does on guard duty or during investigations. It can filter a good amount of toxins and gases but will not protect the wearer from high concentrations and also not from the vacuum.
Its Gammaplast and Cortosis shield alloy makes it quite durable against common energy weapons as well as highly effective against lightsabers. As intended, both the Praetorian Guard as well as the Praetorian Knights are aimed to serve in guard, combat and investigation duties and will more likely than others, encounter dangerous Force Users.
