- Fully Automated: As part of many a recent program within the N&Z Umbrella Corp, the majority ships are now expected to be outfitted with the ZEUS mk II Droid brain, allowing for smoother operations, better response timing and overall better strategic implementation of plans and fleet lay out. It also proves advantageous in terms of necessary operational crew.
- Very High Offensive Capacity: In part due to the growing interest of Nargath Holding's stake in the weapon placement market for combat ships, the Imperious star destroyer has a highly flexible and impressive range of weaponry for use on any battlefield. Allowing the ship tohave a pultipurpose role within any assembled fleet.
- Damocles Installed: As part of the offensive properties, the fact that the Damocles has been installed onto the Imperious adds an extra level of threat to even bigger ships because of it's impressive firepower and range.
- System Disconnect: In emergencies, the full automization CAN be cut off or substantially decreased and limited in order to operate manually with less input from the Droid brain, though this would impair performance due to the smaller crew these ships usually carry, but can proove to be very useful in emergency situations.
- Fully Automated: Full automization, while very useful for operations and tactics, does leave the ship with the obvious weakness that any direct hit of ion or EMP property weaponry and projectiles may cause more internal damage compared to less automated ships, as these types of weaponry and projectiles would carry a great risk for the great amount of electronics necessary for this ship to run and operate smoothly.
- Low Mobility: As expected from ships that emphasize on armament and defense, this ship lacks enough rest power to truly be able to be agile or mobile in comparison to less armed and armored ships.
- Very Low Speed: Due to the weight and the armament focus of the ship, it is hardly to be considered a speedrunner, relying more on it's sturdiness and capable firepower rather than speed and mobility.
As part of the lifecycle of any ship within the N&Z line up, the Imperius Class Star destroyer saw itself upgraded intensively after a long time of being on the market unchanged. To increase the edge on the competition, the Imperius II class has the more robust and reliable ZEUS mk II droid core and AI in comparison to the older ZEUS Mk I model, allowing for even smoother and more efficient operations, topped up with the aptly named NZ T.O.P. or Tactical Order Package, which increases the predictive capacity and tactical capacity of the droid core present within the ship, allowing for much more precise emergency maneuvers and situational decisions based on a compilation of both historic and modern combat situations and simulations, with the added bonus of having a higher learning curve and greater data processing for the access to Datalink and hyperwav transmissions.
The Imperius II-Class also boasts a strong offensive capacity, with many of the older open market components changed out for in-house designed weapon placements such as the NZ-HP1 and HP2 turbolaser varieties, the upgraded RTL-1 with a variety of ordanance and the IPC-1 Ion pulse cannons to act as support to the turbolaser batteries. Lastly, this ship can boast to have two Damocles IEPC weapon placements flaming the ridge on its belly, allowing for a decent amount of destructive capability.
Not only its Offensive capacity is impressive, but the Imperius II class can also boast a well rounded defense thanks to the greatly improved shielding in the form of the NZ SS-1 primera shielding system with its multifunctional design and operative system, but also a multitude of strategically placed energy sinks and heat sinks. Lastly there is also the newest variety on the automated point defense system installed on this ship, namely the NZ ARD-1 Monotype point defense system, coupled to one hundred NZ LC-1 laser cannons to provide excellent coverage.
