In chaos, what is dead doesn't stay dead!

It has been almost two years since I have done one of these. The last one I did was right after I had killed Strider off, obviously after some time and some separation from the Site I had come back and Revived my most beloved anti hero. I have written him for ages and he is just too hard to give up on. Now since his return, He has turned a bit more colder, has some harder views on life and has fallen in league with Ra's Death Watch where his anti force bigotry has flourished.

I would love to hear what you folk have to say about Strider. For better or worse. I know the return back to life was cheezy, I lumped it up as his brother Garrus Garon had kept him in cryo till he found the resources to save him.

I mean, I've killed and revived Onyx three times now. If you love a character and the direction they are going, keep going. Write what ever strikes your muse, even if that means reviving a dead character. And if you do kill off a beloved character, do it in a way that is fitting and ties up whatever loose ends they had, because if you have loose ends the ending won't be satisfying.

To keep it short, write what you wanna write. Sometimes you wanna kill a character off and sometimes you wanna revive one, if you can find a way to make it work and make a good story out of it, go for it.

[member="Strider Garon"], You do you booboo.

As [member="Darren Onyx"] said, if you want to play that character, then do it. Even if they are dead, you can come up with many ways for the person to come back to life. One thing that I have done, is after my muse for a character is dead, I will play a relative, or a child of my previous character. It allows me to play that person in spirit, but also have something new brought to the table.

I played Morna Imura, Nick Imura, and now starting Ignis Imura. Yet every time I do it, I feel like its a new story, while still having the elements form the old ones.

Just an idea for ya if you happen to lose your muse again.

Just make sure to die by falling off things. Then write a long story on how you survived falling off said thing when they return. If it works for... every star wars charicter ever it will work for you.

I think as long as surviving death can be explained away, such as with falling off things like [member="Queen Antalas"] said, or other ways that don't explicitly show things. Having your head or heart pierced by a lightsaber might make it a bit unbelievable, but it's star wars - clones and cybernetics and other wonderful ways to survive abound.

And I really like how I'm seeing Strider so far; granted, I haven't done much roleplay as a Mandalorian yet (or any PvP up until the recent civil war) but he seems like a good example of it to me - even if he's one of the harsher ones.

As someone who got written into a corner and had no choice but to die, I totally understand the need to bring someone back. So easy to do with all the space magic about and i was fortunate enough to be in a position to haul Mia back to life. Would I do it again? Maybe, depends on whether i think there is more to be had from this arc or not.

Personally, I am in love with the colder and darker Strider. It fits so well within the current state of the mandalorians. Cold hearts and dark decisions will need to be made in order for us to survive regardless of what side of the war we are on. I am 100% heartbroken that we are on opposite sides because no one wants to have to put an old man on his backside :p

I will be following his progression after the war closely.
