In Danger, We Trust

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
So there was a new enemy, one that wanted her head in more ways than one even though she had never made an attempt to harm them. In fact she had never seen or heard of the shadowy Sith figure. But that didn't mean that the man didn't know of her and every other official in the Republic.

Kay sat in her office on Commenor, cradling a cup of sapir tea in her hands while she waited for a man, [member="Jarell"] , that could provide her with some information. This whole thing felt wrong and she needed to get to the bottom of it.

Prudii Kyr'am Alor/Mandalorian Elder
Jarell walked into her office. He stood tall, red and black beskar traditional mandalorian armor bus black and red helmet with a T visor. He had a E-11 blaster rifle on his back, a Westar blaster Pistol in a holster on each hip, two belts with several pouches, a EE-3 Carbine Rifle slung over his shoulder, two Beskads (swords) on his back and 6 throwing knives in sheaths attached to his knee pads.

Jarell walked to [member=Lady Kay]'s desk and looked down at her. When he spoke to her his voice sounded like it was coming through on a Comlink.

I'm guessing you called me here over that galaxy wide broadcast from The One Sith's member Darth Vyrassu and his message of putting a bounty on your head and every other republic official and Jedi's head right?

Jarell used the HUD in his helmet to scan everything everywhere looking for traps, bombs, anything that could bring harm to Lady Kay.

A one man army, it looked like. But that was the Mandalorian way. Her office should be safe and as she had done nothing but increase the wealth of the people that she represented through trade and commerce, there shouldn't be anyone vying for her head.

Kay had a sip of her tea and watched [member="Jarell"] . "If you wouldn't mind removing your helmet so that we can talk face to face, I'd appreciate it. But yes. That message is a part of it. What do you know of him? I have never heard of him, yet I have been too busy to partake in the Republic's war with the One Sith."

Prazutis

Prudii Kyr'am Alor/Mandalorian Elder
Jarell offended by being asked to take his helmet off.

this is my face. As for the Sith. He is over 5,000 years old, he is very powerful and very intelligent. I have never came across such a powerful Sith in my life. When he says he is going to do something, it gets done. Those threats of his will very much happen. So yeah Jedi and republic officials will die over this.

Jarell stands straight up and crosses his arms.

She obviously didn't like this news, though what else could she expect? And the fact that he kept his face hidden, well, it wasn't always easy to identify one Mandalorian from another, especially if their armour was stolen and someone else impersonated them. It was one way that an assassination attempt could happen. And right now she had to be careful with who she trusted.

"I have not partaken in this war, nor was I around for any of the attacks. My fight is with the Cartel, not the One Sith. Once I heard the black flag order was given, I was hoping to have it rescinded. But I obviously ran out of time.....How do you know of this man? By reputation, or....?"

Jarell hung his head and then looked back up at [member=Lady Kay]. Jarell removed his helmet.

The scar over my eye, he did. I have fought him. I am one of the VERY few to go toe to toe with him and live to tell about it. So you only called me for information?

Jarell put his helmet back on.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Well, at least she knows what he looks like now. And there was nothing personable about him at all. [member="Jarell"] was just business.

She sipped her tea. "I know what it's like to be left to live by a powerful enemy while everyone else is killed. I've had that happen twice......But no, I didn't call you just for information. I need an extra set of eyes to watch my back should someone try to take my head. It would be nice if I could negotiate some kind of a cease fire, but I have a feeling that he wouldn't be the sort to accept such a thing."

Prazutis

Prudii Kyr'am Alor/Mandalorian Elder
Jarell surprisingly knew she was very wrong.

I'll play security for you if it pays, and Vyrassu would call of the hit if you have him what he wants. Vyrassu is doing this because something the republic or Jedi did to him or even maybe The One Sith Empire..... Maybe this black flag bullshit you have on then?

Jarell smiled knowing he was right on this.

"I never liked that order. And it had only just recently been placed. And for him to know about it so quickly, well then there must be spies." She stared at her tea cup, knowing that she would never kill in cold blood like the law now orders them to do. Some rules were made to be broken.

"I will pay you, of course. And as far as what Vyrassu wants, we can only guess. Even if asked he could lie or change his mind part way through. But I suppose that doesn't mean that I shouldn't try."

Kay had another sip of her tea cup. How could she get the Prime Minister to change her mind? It was hard to say, given how much the Republic has lost already.

Jarell nodded in agreement and then walked around her office checking it.

alright boss... So what now?

Jarell just call someone a boss.... That's weird. But it's whatever. [Member=lady Kay] was cute, smart... And a republic official.... People no better than Sith or Jedi, republic was corrupted, always had been, but what could jarell do, he loved money and cute women... Even if they could not be trusted.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay blinked as [member="Jarell"] called her boss. Well, if the shoe fits....She watched him as he checked out her office.

"That's a good question. I've got a long list of people that I've angered, including recently the destruction of one of my former employers mobile battle stations. I should have a chat with him. But as he's now working for the enemy, and after what I've done, that could prove to be a dangerous chat. But you might have a problem with that as he is Mandalorian. I'm not anticipating violence, but in case there is, I'd need to know who's side you'd be on."

Jarell stopped and looked back at [member=lady Kay]

I will not let harm come to you, I won't attack, I will only defend. I will not attack my vode. What's the name of my vode?

Jarell waited for a reply as he was curious as to what she did to piss his vode off

She nodded, approving of his stance. Not that he really needed her approval, but it was good to see that they were on the same page.

"His name is Draco Vereen. He owns ArmaTech. I used to work for him as his COO, but once the company started to change direction, I stepped down and gave everything back, including most of my salary."

She finished off her tea. "But recently I arrived on Naboo to help out the resistance against the Techno Union. I saw Draco there...and I toppled his Mythosaur. I had no idea that ArmaTech had fallen so far into darkness.." Kay frowned. It was a shock to have seen it happen and she felt so betrayed...

Prazutis

Prudii Kyr'am Alor/Mandalorian Elder
Jarells eyes widened.

you never touch another mando'ade's Mythosaur. That symbol is sacred to us. Messing with that is bad ju ju. Anyways, there has to be more to it than just the mythosaur and you leaving his company.... What are you not telling me.

Jarell felt like there is more to the story, he may be wrong but he had to ask.

[Member=lady kay]

Kay-Larr

Kay shook her head. She of course couldn't see the expressions [member="Jarell"] gave from within his helmet.

"This Mythosaur is a machine, a mobile battle fortress. I was in the company when it was being built, so I knew it's weaknesses. But it doesn't matter. It wasn't as though my efforts turned the tide of the war. Naboo is lost for now."

She chewed the inside of her cheek. "I hope that I can talk some sense into him and show him that he's on the wrong path."

Prazutis

Prudii Kyr'am Alor/Mandalorian Elder
Jarell shook his head.

the mythosaur skull is the symbol of the mando'ade. As for his Mythosaur machine, what was it's purpose, ravage the galaxy, attempt the second mandalorian wars?

"It assists in land battles, a mobile command centre. But it's very well armed and can hold many soldiers within it. My former boss is fighting along side the Techno Union and taking over planets, killing and enslaving the people while destroying and raping the planet's resources." They seemed to be worse than the Empire of old.

Prazutis

Prudii Kyr'am Alor/Mandalorian Elder
and you didn't think to come to Mandalore and tell the Mand'Alor why? We would of done something to stop him. He is breaking the code of mando'ade. He would have been marked as a Dar'Manda by now if we knew any of this.

Jarell begin to think that he needed to get to Mand'Alor on mandalore and quick. Sad part is, he don't even know what's going on in the capital he had not been there in years.

[Member=lady Kay]

Kay shook her head. "No, I didn't go to Mandalore because he has many of them working for him. Whether or not he's marked already, I don't know. But when I was last with the company, he was gaining more contracts to mine on Mandalorian worlds. I had access to all of those planets, but gave that up when I quit. Besides....it's not as though any of them would listen to me anyways."
