to teach me how to mentally resist and shield myself against enemy FUers. (friendly ones too. )

The GA has already tried this tactic against the NFU TIE pilots at Eriadu; trying to misdirect and confuse us to buy them time to account for their weak piloting skills. I'm assuming this will be something we encounter from now on and need a defense against it.

I'm an Apprentice myself, but that doesn't mean we both can't learn together. It can probably be assumed that Greifen at least knows the rudimentary abilities in protecting himself from mind tricks and can probably stand to improve some himself.

The idea of the GA using something like a blanket Jedi Mind Trick to mass confuse pilots in the air seems a little suspect to me. I thought Jedi Mind Tricks only worked on the *weak* minded?

It's established in canon that Imperial pilots are some of the Empire's most mentally hardened soldiers due to their intense and rigorous training. So FO pilots should be exactly the same.

We can do a thread though, either doing individual training or detailing the training the pilots receive, to prevent this from happening.

I'm just saying what I was told and nothing more. What he did was not a mind trick, it was an illusion. I wrote the writer, and he does have illusions listed as something he can do. He's playing around with the idea, and it's fun. He is also letting us decide how to respond.

The thread just makes for good story if it gets detailed out. Whether I'm there or not, it's a good idea.

When the navies of the Army of Light and Brotherhood of Darkness fought, Lord Kaan through battle meditation would mind trick enemy pilots… so did Darth Caedus, though he did it to the ship captains in LotF. So canonically it can happen. (Or should I say legendly since TOR and EU aren't canon anymore *rolls eyes*)

Roth from GA is letting us respond how we feel best after speaking with him. Just for future, I'd like to have down in a thread that at least our elite pilots have had resistance training. Plus, a useful skill for NFUers and FUers alike, and a way for more FO's to get to know each other.

And I am most definitely not weak minded. lol

Training is a good idea.
The pilots would undergo the same training as the Stormtroopers and in there description (In the military forum) I listed that all First Order forces receive force conditioning.
