Eskk sat behind his desk in the office of the military base of Balosaur 2. Recent events have convinced him to think of greater preservation. In that spirit he had invited the owner of a small alchemy shop to come and discuss that idea.
Eskk was confident of his ability to pay for such items. Typically he was very frugal and spent very little money. He had his own ship, paid for by the Eternal Empire. He had his quarters on the military base he was in command of. Eskk prefered to hunt his own food, which were typically the citizens of Balosaur 2.
There was an active search going on for a serial killer who was accused of draining the brains of at least five individuals. Unbeknownst to the imperial troops conducting the search, that serial killer was their boss, Eskk. So, he had full control over the investigation of his crimes and full ability to ensure it went no where.
When he was out hunting he had access to communications, alliwing him to avoid patrols that were essentially looking for him. In any event that he was discovered near a body, he could convincingly claim that he was on the trail of the killer and as the boss, his troops would have no choice but to believe him.
With the credits he had stolen from his victims, as well as his own savings from being paid as a major, Eskk had about 100,000 credits that he could spend on his quest for better protection.
