In Plain Sight

It was strange, to wear her old robes for so long, it brought back quite a few memories of her past, some fun other not but it didn't matter. Elise did not donned the old robes for personal use, it was a sort of necessary step to help blend in with the Silver Jedi more then she already had accomplished. To some at the temple she was some former Jedi that spent time as a archaeologist, every now and then visting the plant to under take expeditions into the jungle. Now? she was returning as a master of sorts, teaching a Zeltron names Sky she had met on the ice world of Ilum, it was expected of her to be in some form of Jedi attire.

Stepping down from her ship and onto the landing pad she breathed a small sigh, "best just get in there and sort things out, if I am to be a 'Jedi' master again I'll need to join the order to some extent, good thing no one here knows who I really am... well aside from my daughter's children, they can probably smell my familiar scent". Though Elise doubted they would say anything, in all honesty they would probably try and help her if she told them who she was, but for now secrecy was key, keep a low profile, just make sure you are an official member. She repeated those words in her head while strolling through the long temple hallways, her old and slightly battered saber hanging from her belt.

"Your daughters, and the children of the Emperor." Kahlil's voice sounded off nearby as [member="Elise Ike"] waltzed past him. He knew exactly who the Sith had been, and it had him rather suspicious. So when she started mumbling to herself about rejoining the order, it caught his ear. Of course, he didn't say anything that would out her among others. No, they were alone. The young man pushed himself from the wall, eyeing Elise suspiciously.

"What are you up to?"

Her legs stopped, he head facing forwards but her eyes glancing to the side, noting the voice of the person who interrupted. "Kahlil, I didn't think you would be here... he, the child of the Sith leader, becoming apart of the order he hates the most, ironic". A small smirk appears on her face as she turns around to face the white haired body, placing her hands on her hip, raising an eyebrow in the process. Of all the people to find as a Jedi, someone of the Zambrano family was the last to be expected, if she didn't know any better Elise would have assumed he was a sleeper agent, ready to bring the Silver Order down from the inside at the Sith Empires request. "As for what i am up to, I do not believe that is your business".

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"You're here pretending to be a Jedi when you're anything but." Not that he was one to judge. He was a Sith who came to the Jedi to become something different. That might of been something they had in common, but [member="Elise Ike"] was wandering around alone. She hadn't told anyone she was a Sith, and that's where their similarities ended. "Consider me worried about what you might do to the Jedi here while you wear that false face. Why not give me something to put my mind at ease?"

"Maybe, but I'm more Jedi then you will ever be in your mortal life", doubting the boys ability to live over 100 years, she did not sense anything about the former sith that would allow him to live past a normal human life span. "You are right to be worried of my power, it is natural of the unknown, but answer me this, what reason would I have for going against the order? I've been alive for several thousands years Kahlil, there have been many chances for me to slip into the ranks of the Silver Order and bring it down, why would I do such now"? She crossed her arms, looking into the eyes of the pale haired man, awaiting a reply, depending on his answer she may tell him the true, but not before testing their intellect.

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"What more of a reason does a Sith need then to be bored. When you live forever, why not play a good guy?" Not that he actually thought [member="Elise Ike"] would randomly turn after taking so long to put herself in good standing. Eventually he just let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. No, she wasn't a threat. Not yet at least. "Still, I am curious as to why you're here of all places. And dressed like that."

"Perhaps I am here to make sure the Silver Oder does not fail and always ensure there is war by preventing the Sith from fully taking over". Her tone clearly joking, though he did make a good point, when you lived as long as she did it was certainly a bore, perhaps she would join the good guys during a war of sorts, certainly be a new experience. Maybe in a few hundred years, once the man in front of her and her new student died of old age and her name was once again eroded from history.

She turned back to Kahlil, giving a small sigh, "would you believe me if I told you I felt pity on some lost Jedi padawan that went to Ilum to get a crystal with very little knowledge of the force and the trials"? "As for my attire and saber", her hand moving to pick up the worn looking hilt, "tis was mine back in the days of the old republic, the saber I made while apart of the Jedi order, these robes, mine too, given once becoming a master of the order, kinda of glad I preserved them".

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"I might, if I knew who it was." Certainly a surprise. A Sith taking in a Jedi usually only meant the corruption of said Jedi. But if [member="Elise Ike"] was speaking the truth, well. Kahlil would have to apologize soon enough. Still, he didn't exactly trust the word of a Sith. "Though, it does come as a surprise that you were a Jedi in the Old Republic. What were you? Frozen and revived in this time? Sent through a time vortex?"

"Zeltron girl, named Sky, loopy, likes dancing, you probably don't know her very well", she replied in a very dismissive tone, what were the chances of the two of them being connected to one Padawan. Her eye glanced over the young boy with a sly gaze, a small chuckle coming from her, "ahh, you don't even know what I am do you... I wasn't frozen, nor time traveled". The smile becoming a littler sinister as she approached Kahlil, "no, I got here the old fashion way, by living, my dear Kahlil, I am over 3000 years old, a master of both light and dark, a Darth... does that answer your question"? Her tone suddenly becoming more light hearted and cheery.

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"You're training Sky?" Kahlil blinked in surprise, staring at [member="Elise Ike"] with an odd mix of concern and.. Admiration? Sky was an interesting character, but for her to be learning from a Sith Lord certainly made this awkward. Even more so once the young man learned that the woman before him wasn't some random Sith from a time long past, but an immortal. Was she like his great uncle, taking over new bodies to extend her life span?

Or was she one of those immortal species?

".. What are you?"

".... you know her don't you, why galaxy why must you constantly screw with me"! It's like anytime she tried to do something a entity not in her control butted in to change things up and make her life more complicated. She gave a small sigh, mentally face palming before turning to the child of the emperor, hands going to her hips as she looked at him with a now slightly annoyed expression. "Hmmm do you really want to know what I am? I'd rather avoid a fight, my kind isn't a type many people like, if you can promis me that you won't go all 'ima kill ya' on my butt I will consider telling you about myself".

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"Yeah, I do. I showed her a trick or two." Well, that certainly didn't bode well. If what she was often got people after her and wanting her head, [member="Elise Ike"] must be some sort of monster. Perhaps Sithspawn? No, he would of felt that long before now. Something natural then, if horrendous. "I don't kill anymore, so you have my word I'll leave you unharmed. I'm the last person to hate someone else for what they are."

"A trick or two? hmmm I'll have to ask her what she has learnt when we meet up again". Come to think of it she had not really taught Sky any skills yet, more just leading her through the basics of the Jedi, perhaps some sparing was in order. That is if she had use the saber crystal they found on Ilum. An idea to put on hold, for now her attention needed to be directed at Kahlil, her gaze upon him becoming quite inquisitive, attempting to detect any sort of treachery in his promise. "Fine, I am not human, I am an energy vampire believe it or not, capable of living thousands of years until age takes it's toll on my body, my experiences in the last 300o years are something you children could never hope to comprehend".

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"Energy.. Vampire..?" Kahlil tilted his head curiously, though his eyes filled with delight. He had never heard of an energy vampire before, and the idea of something that leeched energy to live forever.. Well. He wanted to know more. "What do you feed on? Energy? Force? People? Maybe just raw electricity? Is that why you don't look like you're thousands of years old?"

A second passed before she spoke up again, "Yes, yes, sort, of no... it's a little hard to explain but in a sense we consume their life energy, it's similar to force drain but more natural and we can take the energy via drinking blood, but we can do it in many different ways". "As for our age, we live as such like normal, though our bodies require energy to live, same as your having to eat, it is also from the energy we take where our races regeneration ability comes from". There was more to it then that but for the most part that was the basics of an energy vampire, well at least the ones of her family, the race different depending on planet and environment.

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"Interesting. By syphoning off energy, could you potentially live forever? It amazes me that my father would never use such a body for himself. Then again, he has always been a purest when it comes to our species." Now he was just rambling on his own. [member="Elise Ike"] standing before him seemed to slip his mind for a moment as he pondered the various scenarios in his head before he glanced back to the woman.

"Ah, sorry. Anyway. Sky is a good student. Whimsical. She channels the Force best when she's allowed to sing and dance believe it or not. I suggest starting with that should you continue to be her master."

Elise didn't bother to reply, the kid could go on his small rant for all she cared, her explanation was enough for now, no need to tell the man her whole life story. It was also best they move onto another subject, least a passerbyer overhear the two of them, could make things very complicated. "Whimsical, that is putting it lightly, but I understand what your saying... hmmm I think I could probably switch up how I train her, this will be an interesting challenge to say the least".

And she thought her last Padawan was a little odd to deal with, maybe it was just a Zeltron things, speaking individual quirks. "I have to ask Kahlil, how did you end up a Jedi, a child to the Sith Emperor above all else, the first time we met you seemed very Sith, what made you change"?

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"I decided I didn't want to be a Sith. My whole life I've been told who I am, and what I should be. The son of the Sith Emperor." Kahlil let out a small laugh. "What else am I suppose to be but a Sith? My siblings are all Sith. My mothers. Uncles. Someone I care about showed me I could be different, so I left. I wasn't planning on being a Jedi, but I figured it would be the best way to try and right the wrongs my family and myself have done to this galaxy." He offered only a shrug to [member="Elise Ike"] as he finished speaking. To him, it was that simple.

Elise just stared at the boy with a slightly awed face, she was expecting his story to be, well, more interesting then just, 'I saw different stuff'. Then again when you have been somewhat brained washed from birth to follow a certain path, even the slightest view of a different life can make you question who you are... at least that was her hypothesis. "Well, you do you and I'll do me, but we won't do each other... probably". Wasn't her place to direct people in a certain way, she may have been evil, but not a hypocritical, people could do what ever the hell they wanted, as long as it didn't effect her in some negative way. "Still, righting the wrongs your family has committed... perhaps I should turn you into a vampire, cus it will taken thousands of years to complete that goal".

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"You could do that? Being immortal might actually be a good idea. I'd be able to better stand against my father should he remain as unkillable as he has proven time and time again. So long as he keeps swapping bodies, he'll never die of old age." Kahlil was taking [member="Elise Ike"] 's suggestion to heart oddly enough. He certainly didn't think of Elise being evil because she was an energy vampire.

It was a person's choices that dictated good or evil. "Unless, you actually can't do that. Heh."
